The year is 1997, and an order has gone out from the Ministry of Magic that all students between the ages of eleven and seventeen who were formerly taught at home must now present themselves for attendance at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. 

Howard Sutton, the seventeen-year-old son of sheep crofters on the Isle of Skye, who formerly received his magical education at home, arrives at Hogwarts at the beginning of what will be the calamitous school year of 1997-1998.  The Sorting Hat says, "It's not a matter of which House you need, but of which House needs you."  What can a crofter do for Hogwarts?

Padmé's familiar with nightmares, but these seem to be something else entirely — almost memories, except she's never seen them before. The Leia that appears in them is a princess of Alderaan and a military commander, which is nothing but a curiosity until Leia Skywalker's luck runs out and she slips up in a meeting. Things are colliding, but Padmé has no idea what they are.

Takes place in acuteneurosis's Don't Look Back universe, but readable without knowledge of that series.

All things considered, it is quite hard to run away properly, when your friends can, quite literally, follow you to the Ends Of The Universe And Back.

This is fairly annoying when your friends' primary motivations for hunting you down seems to be to pretend that Everything's Fine Without Him, Really, ruin your perfectly-sweet, perfectly-quiet happiness with a sudden onset of Relationship Crisis, and to sidle you into playing Therapist when your only qualifications for the role are that you were once (sort of; it's a long story) a God and/or have previously given some Exciting News to a random virgin woman and some shepherds, neither of which are particularly helpful.

Beelzebub is Mildly Furious, Gabriel is Quietly Amused: together they're, well, sort of just... Meh about it all?
