Hello Kappa! I'm here for the Magical Menagerie and BvY (Team Black)

 

This story is so sweet and tender I adore it. <3

 

I really relate to the idea of a certain personi calming me or rioting me, depending on who it is and how I feel. When two people really trust each other, there's a sense of peace and calm that just can't exist outside of that closeness. You know how there are only a few certain people you can handle being with when you feel like staying home? This captures that so perfectly and romantically. I'm swooning.

 

I have to confess: I don't actually believe in love at first sight. And the moment in the greenhouses seems to be that, essentially. But I do believe in interest at first sight, so I can suspend my disbelief for the length of this sweet story. 

 

That reminds me, I love that they feel so connected that she imagines them reading each other minds. Especially because allowing someone to read your mind and enter your thoughts, no matter how blithely she imagines it in this moment, is probably 5the greatest act of trust possible.

 

You're truly managed to capture such powerful joy and love in this vignette. It's beautiful.

One of the best things about me joining HPFT is discovering the sheer number of LGBT fics out there. Despite that, I haven't found a lot of fics dedicated to a single F/F relationship, and so even though this is short (but it's like a beautiful piece of poetry written in a prose format) I just really appreciate that you wrote a F/F fic.

 

I really love the girl's name. Imogen. It's one of my favorite names in the world, and when paired with a name like Dominique? That couple will be unstoppable. I don't know how you managed to convey the love that these two have for each other in such a short piece, but you did it. I think maybe it was the "it’s difficult when I’m smiling so hard the corners of my mouth hurt" line that really allowed the depth of their feelings to come across to the readers.

 

And these girls know how to have fun with each other. They're in a normal relationship, and they're so in love, and they're so happy. And I love that. <3
