Sirius and Millie are absolutely in sync with each other, and very much on the same page! This is completely and utterly delightful! I love how unimpressed Remus is with the plan that they’ve presented, but personally I think it’s pretty much the most genius plan that any friends could’ve created. Though, I wonder if they let James in on this plan hahaha, because if they didn’t then I suppose he was hit with quite a bad illness rather unexpectedly and quickly. And I really really hate being sick, so if that happened to me I probably would’ve been kinda unhappy lmao. Even if the love of my life came in and looked after me.

I’m really really glad that it worked, though! It should not have taken Lily James’s near death experience to realize that she actually really, truly cared for him, but I’m still really glad it worked! I was also beginning to get worried when she didn’t show up at first, and when Millie was talking about how James could potentially die, I was beginning to get very concerned, but thank goodness we didn’t have to deal with that mess! I’m quite happy with the way the plan turned out hahaha. These two are geniuses.

And the way they showed appreciation for each other at the end! KISS KISS KISS. <3

Oh my goodness hahaha I love how this entire chapter is just Millie and Sirius observing Lily and James from afar and making side comments to each other about how to fix the problem. Like, they’re in Potions, with a potion in front of them that might turn life-threatening if not taken care of, and instead they’re just idling snooping on their friends’ business, trying to think of ways to fix it. Also, the idea of James looking like he was about to cry while Lily just completely ignored his existence somehow was really sad. It reminded me of a puppy getting kicked somehow. :(

My favorite thing is how the next two sections of the chapter are just Sirius and Millie spending casual time together (okay, not so casual as they’re studying, but still they’re willingly spending time together) and then just randomly leaping at whatever good idea just popped into their brains. I thought it was so funny when Millie was slightly disgruntled because no, in fact, Sirius did not figure out the equation, when Sirius was really just talking about how to help Lily and James. And I gotta say, his idea does sound pretty ingenious, though, Lily, it should not take James almost getting himself killed in order for you to realize you still like him! I think Millie’s amendments to Sirius’s idea were also pretty ingenious; a potion would definitely work better than faking life-threatening injuries (as though Madam Pomfrey would let them do the second haha).

Man I love these two. Scheming away like the adorable, devious couple they are. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. <3

Awww no! I love James and Lilyyy, and so I was a little heartbroken when I opened this chapter only to find that James and Lily were suddenly no longer a thing. Though I think it’s a little reassuring that the reason why Lily was mad was because she’d been genuinely hopeful that James changed, which means her current anger is more of disappointment rather than complete loathing…right? Also, what did Millie mean by the fact that Lily was probably “still in love with Severus”?? Was Lily ever in love with Severus??? There’s no way she was, right, otherwise Severus totally would have seized on any signs of affection, right? (I can’t even imagine them together omg.)

LILYYY, IT DOESN’T MEAN THAT JAMES DID ANYTHING. Though I suppose he doesn’t have a lot of credit at this point, given his history of playing pranks on Slytherins and such. But still, I feel like she ought to at least hear him out before suddenly abandoning him like this; the silent treatment should just not be allowed whatsoever for any relationships since it solves pretty much nothing. Her friends shouldn’t be trying to fix their relationship!! She should!!! Or James!!!

I’m so curious to see what this group comes up with though. What could be better than shoving them into a broom closet and seeing what happens? :P

THIS CHAPTER WAS SO CUTE OMG. Whatever sadness the previous chapter caused, this chapter more than made up for it in terms of adorableness omg. Okay, at first, it started off slightly rocky in terms of the happiness level between Sirius and Millie, and so I was prepared to brace myself for more turmoil and rough waters ahead, but then they had the absolute cutest little squabble in the common room omg. I can’t believe that the entire argument that devolved into tickling all stemmed from Millie refusing to share the couch and calling Sirius’s arse “fat” ahahah. I love these two so much omg.

You write dialogue and convey personalities so incredibly well! Like, we know that Sirius can be quite mopey, and dramatic, and has a flair for anything that might draw him attention, but is sometimes serious (which is not what his name would suggest lol), and that Millie can be sweet and stony at the same time, and has a special ability to needle at people (especially Sirius haha), and is just ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. So the entire time that these two were arguing, I just admiring how well you write dialogue, and how the banter just flies so naturally back and forth between the two of them omg. Also, I love that Lily was a spectator hahaha. If I were in the common room at this time, I would probably just watch them to be honest, rather than doing my homework haha.

And speaking of homework! That entire sequence when Millie woke up from her awkward nighttime nap (after Sirius put a blanket over her awwww) and began completing Arithmancy problems with Sirius was just the absolute cutest thing in the whole entire world! Especially because Sirius started finding himself growing really soft towards her, and just noticing all these things like the blueberry shampoo, and the color of her hair, and the softness of her smile… This was just too cute. I need these two to kiss asap.

I love your romantic writing so so muchhhh. <3

NOOO I HAD SUCH HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS DATE AND IT ENDED IN SUCH A TERRIBLE ARGUMENT I’M SO SAD. I’m going to start from the beginning of the chapter though so that I’m not hopelessly sad all throughout writing this review. :(

I really loved the amount of effort that Lily was putting into her outfit! It showed that she really cared, and even though she kept trying to pin the blame on Millie for making her agree to go on this double date, I think we all knew she was not quite telling the truth haha. Millie’s little matter-of-fact statement about how Lily really just likes James was very awesome and I approved. And Millie snuck out through the bathroom window!! I am constantly amazed by her and love her more with every passing chapter. Though I would like to know how Sirius followed her out without getting noticed… My first instinct was that he somehow squiggled through the toilet, but that’s not possible. Was it in his dog form, maybe? Why am I even trying to solve this mystery? :P

You know, everyone has such a strong hatred for Madame Puddifoot’s, but honestly I feel like it could be a really cute date place! I like the color pink, and it’s very romantic, and I have a fondness for cafes that are targeted towards easy couple seating, so it would probably be fun to go at least once.

MILLIE WHY DID YOU HAVE TO SAY THAT SIRIUS’S RELATIONSHIPS DON’T’ LAST IN SUCH A DEROGATORY WAYYY. I feel like Sirius is a little too sensitive about this, though, especially since he made a point of saying that he was the one who ended each relationship?? So??? What’s up with your overly dramatic and scathing reaction, Sirius Black?

Please let these two reconcile soon, their argument is making me sad. :(

I LOVE QUIDDITCH GAMES. And you described this one so well!! I was so nervous along with the team omg, and when Millie started eating her giant breakfast (which was shocking to read about, considering the very tiny breakfasts she’s eaten so far in this story) I was simultaneously very impressed and kind of worried that she was going to not react well to all the excessive food later. Lily clearly thought so too hahaha—"You, on the other hand, are eating way too much for it to be completely healthy.” That line made me laugh a lot.

I was really really excited to read about the game. I wonder a little bit about Millie’s description of Regulus Black, haha, because I have a somewhat bad feeling that they’re going to end up together…at least briefly. I hope that nothing too sketchy happens, and that if it does end up happening, that Millie and Sirius aren’t still together! Or “together,” I should say, haha. But anyway! I really loved the way you described the dive for the Snitch—it was really exciting, and I was holding my breath, hoping that Millie didn’t die. Which she didn’t! So huzzah!

Millie’s many nightmare Snitch catches all sound very epic and I hope one day to receive a long, detailed account of each of them hehe.

Lily and James! They’re finally together! Ish! I’m so excited at the idea of this double date, you have no idea, especially with Millie and Sirius pretending to be dating haha. That should be fun, especially considering how bad at lying Millie is. I’M SO EXCITEDDD.

Lily, ever the supportive friend, hahaha. I love how in previous chapters, like Millie mentioned, she was amusing herself with the idea of Millie and Sirius paralleling each other in many ways, and then suddenly now that it’s actually happening, she regrets everything haha. I do agree that perhaps Sirius is a little arrogant at the moment, given his totally unapologetic state for messing around with a bunch of girls in the first place (you know I’m still unclear on whether or not the girls understood his policies on hooking up), so maybe Millie will make him behave? :P

Sometimes I just want to take James and smack him across the face omg. If he wants Lily to like him, then he should just fix his behavior even more than he has and hope for the best, and if it doesn’t happen, then that’s that! However, it’s cute that he asked Sirius to put in a good word, with Sirius laughing in his face hahaha.

I love the in-class scene between Sirius and Millie, and how she so obviously forgot that they were meant to be dating. I wonder what it must feel like having the entire class watch you when you’re supposedly “with” someone?? That must be a lot of pressure, goodness, though I’m sure that Sirius is used to it. One of my favorite moments from this story is when Millie falls asleep while sitting in class, her notes all written and her quill poised, while somehow managing to still answer questions when the professor calls on her. How does she do it?? I can’t manage that without the teacher forcibly waking me up! (Once, I was falling asleep in Chemistry, along with a bunch of other students, and my teacher slammed a textbook on the desk as a very brutal alarm clock. I’m glad that this didn’t happen to Millie hahaha.)

They managed to not really see each other for two weeks?? Tsk, tsk, we gotta fix that. :P

Oh nooo, realizing that you haven’t done homework right when you’re about to fall asleep is the absolute worst feeling ever, especially when you actually care about homework like Millie seems to. I feel so bad though! I’ve never understood how people juggle both sports and academics when I can barely manage just academics on its own haha, and it sounds like Millie went through a really terrible Quidditch practice… How does James manage it? I realize that the Marauders must be like academic geniuses to some degree, but surely he has to struggle as well??

I think all Quidditch coaches must be evil, pushing their players to the breaking point like that. (I’m being dramatic, Millie is probably doing just fine, and she can handle it. But I’m still going to be slightly angry on her behalf because I am also quite tired right now and I would be absolutely furious if someone purposefully put me into this state haha.)

Sirius’s questions for Millie were oddly sweet. Like, I appreciated that he seemed to care about her, and notice what she was doing. I sort of assumed that last chapter he had just come down to the lake to inform her of the future torment about to fall upon her, but I guess he actually noticed what she was working on! And then made sure she was going to be okay tomorrow! Like that’s pretty adorable. Though what he should’ve done, as a true gallant young man who distracted her from her homework earlier in the day, was offer to help her with it haha.

Millie being so tired that she’s not registering his “darling” is so cute but also makes me worried. GO TO BED. SLEEP WELL LOVELY. <3

Hahaha I like how Millie has dubbed her conversation with Black the “Kitchens Conversation.” She’s actually given it a proper name and everything, which is super amusing to me. You know, I know that Millie is not entirely pleased with the fact that Marissa has released the rumors into the general vicinity of the Hogwarts student body, but I’m quite happy that it now allows for these to fake date! Because fake dating is obviously always the way to go, even if it might not work out so well in real life. I loved this line omg—"the other half thought that hurting Sirius Black in any way was the equivalent of burning the Bible or something.” Children, Sirius Black is not that godly. In fact, he’s not godly at all, considering the way he reacted to Marissa’s betrayal hahah.

Sirius makes a good point with Millie though; at least she’ll get Rex Redford off her back, and will be able to probably walk around Hogwarts without him gazing after her with lovestruck eyes. (I imagined that last part, though Sirius was making it sound rather dramatic on Rex’s part so that image just popped right into my head haha.) I also thought Sirius could not have described him spreading his own rumors in a weirder way—"Because I’ve released the seeds!” Why is Sirius an actual idiot hahaha.

HE CALLED HER “SMITTEN-WORTHY”??? That’s so cute! I’m so so looking forward to these two becoming a “couple” and shocking the entire Hogwarts population.

Aww, Millie’s parents died? I feel like I should’ve made this connection like last chapter or the one before when she talked about sorting out the wills, but I’m dumb. I feel bad for having guessed that her parents were abusive, though Lily did mention troubles with her family which is why I think I jumped straight to that conclusion (even though it was wrong), and I hope that Millie’s alright. It doesn’t seem like she’s too emotionally devastated, which I think is good, unless she’s hiding it all and it’s going to all come pouring out at some point.

But anyway, I’m really glad that Millie and Sirius had this heart-to-heart in the Kitchens! Though I’ve never eaten a whole tub of ice cream alongside someone else also eating a whole tub of ice cream (Millie’s very detailed description on the art of ice cream eating was quite hilarious), I’d imagine that it would be quite a good bonding experience. Also, Sirius being so sad about the fact that Marissa broke it off with him is honestly so ridiculous, like, surely he does this to countless girls? Surely he should be at least prepared for the fact that some girls might not be entirely happy about the way others are treated, and so they’ll make sure to end it first??

I don’t think what Marissa did was altogether terrible, in any way, except for the part about spreading the lies and such. I mean, if her friend got hurt by Sirius, then I think it’s fair that she’ll want to take revenge (unless Sirius honestly laid out the ground rules for the brief relationship with Marissa’s friend beforehand, in which case I would say the friend shouldn’t feel too hurt about it).

PLEASE FAKE DATE, MILLIE. FAKE DATING IS THE BEST TROPE IN THE WORLD.

Millie is such a devious person omg. Perhaps what she’s doing is really not all that ethical, but I still think that it’s really funny that she’s taking advantage of the situation that happened to her over the summer in order to convince Rex that she really wasn’t ready for a relationship. Also, to be fair to her, one date should not be enough for a guy to be begging not to be broken up with, like, if you go on a date with someone and then you don’t hear from them again for a few months, then I feel like that’s probably a pretty good sign that you guys are not still currently dating. :P

You know, I wish the best for Sarah. Even though I’m sure she could do better than Remus (as wonderful Remus is), I hope for her sake that he at least acknowledges her at some point haha. I also really like how Millie’s good at art! I like characters who have one specific passion, and the fact that Millie wishes she could use her sketchbook for communication rather than actual words is really cute and amusing to me. I really love Millie. Like, truly. I’m so so fond of her.

And Sirius! Yeahhh I think I agree with Remus here, he should probably get over himself. And James also makes an excellent point, that it really can’t count as breaking up if you weren’t really going out to begin with, right? I really hope that Sirius doesn’t spend too much mental energy on this haha, it would be really sad if he went around moping about the fact that someone he made out with a few times decided to break it off. :P

I LOVE THIS STORY SO MUCH. <3

I really like knowing all of Millie and Sirius’s similarities, like the fact that they’re both from neurotic and dysfunctional Pureblood families (gives them a lot of culture in common, or perhaps things to snark about to each other haha), and that neither of them are particularly good at keeping relationships for more than two weeks. Which, I didn’t realize this before, but that’s incredibly short. And it would be really entertaining watching the two of them try to work it out beyond two weeks, so…we’ll see how this goes!

I love this system that Millie and Sirius have worked out in Potions hahaha, she’s so clever. Maximize work efficiency, minimize conversationalizing (not a word but you know what I mean, too tired to think haha). Of course, as a reader, it is my highest priority that these two get together, so the “no talking” thing doesn’t seem to be going in my favor here, but! I still am proud of her for thinking of this idea. Also, it’s always really funny to me when girls have chicken scratch handwriting and guys have beautiful script, especially since in the real world, for some reason, it’s mostly the opposite way. (Also, Sirius knows about what happened over the summer? What did happen over the summer? She lost someone??)

All of their friends are so curious about what they’re up to with each other!!! Or, Millie’s friends are. The Marauders seem to be way more pessimistic about this relationship, haha, which I think is good. Better not let Sirius get too cocky and overconfident about this, otherwise that would be bad. Because, he’s already ridiculously confident. I love how Remus basically reins him in hahaha, when he sang “I told you so” and told him to work on his essay. Good mother hen Remus. :P

Lily is sooo funny omg, I love her overdramatic reactions so much. She makes me really happy to read about hahaha, especially knowing how she’s eventually going to start feeling fonder and fonder of James, and so having Millie point out that perhaps James was beginning to mature for the better was delightful. (Even though I do agree with Lily that perhaps he shouldn’t have been so immature to begin with haha.)

Millie and Remus! Man, bonding over books is the absolute best way to make new friends, like literally all of my friends have been made through a common, shared interest in some books. I really hope that Millie and Remus keep this up! I’ve always been incredibly fond of Remus; he was probably my favorite Marauder (well, I guess my favorite alive one), and so I’d love to see more of him in this story! Lily and Sarah being completely shocked by the interaction was absolutely hilarious, and I’m glad that Millie was quite firm about not liking him haha. Better not let Sarah get the wrong idea about this stuff. And then they moved on to teasing her about Sirius!! They’re such amazing friends omg. I would probably smack them if I were her, but they’re funny to me as an outsider. :P

I looove the dialogue and banter in this story, like Sirius interrogating Remus about Millie, and then being all embarrassed about liking her. Because you don’t spend too much time on dialogue tags, it feels like the dialogue goes back and forth really quickly between the characters, making it feel like a real conversation and quite witty as well.

I’M SO EXCITED TO READ MORE AHH I LOVE THIS.

THIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE STORIES BACK IN THE DAY OMG, I CAN’T BELIEVE I DIDN’T REALIZE IT WAS UP ON HPFT. ANYWAY I WILL BINGEREAD ALL OF THIS NOW BECAUSE I LOVED IT SO MUCH. I don’t remember most of it, to be honest, other than that it was Millie/Sirius, though, so it will almost be like reading a new story!

The bloody dream in the beginning sounds ominous, and paired with what Liily said afterwards about Millie going through a lot over the summer, I have a really bad feeling that she went through a pretty nasty injury of some sorts, perhaps purposefully caused? Does she have an abusive parent? I really hope that she’s okay and safe now; I don’t want her to suffer because she’s amazing and I love her. :(

The characters are all so funny omg, I love how Lily basically knocks down Millie’s door in order to escape James, who didn’t even do anything haha. I like how lighthearted and comedic Lily and James are, and how Millie made that internal joke about what would happen to Lily if James ever kissed her haha. And Millie sleeping in! That’s exactly my kind of person—I would sleep until noon if I had the chance every day, but alas. The world is cruel and we all must suffer. (Can I be best friends with Millie though?)

And Sirius likes her!! I’m really looking forward for all the flirtations and kisses and emotional troubles hahaha. Though I might be changing my mind once I’m actually experiencing pain from all these characters. What I really love is how this story takes your popular Sirius-is-a-playboy trope yet still makes it incredibly interesting and entertaining. I’m really excited to read through this story again! (And I wonder what Millie’s going to do with this new observation that Sirius has been staring at her, hmm.)

Also, happy birthday Millie! :D

i can't believe how much sirius has changed - i think that before, he would have pestered millie until she finally gave in and started arguing with him and then everything would have probably fallen apart. now, he is letting her think things through, giving her space and that's wonderful, though i'm obviously rooting for him and millie to finally end up together. i admit, when he poked her to see if she was real, i had to laugh at him, but sirius is exceptionally cute when he's unsure of himself.

oh and millie knows he's an animgaus? how did she figure that out? and she knows remus is a werewolf! i guess that millie is smart and figured it out all by herself.

finally she tells him she loves him - i thought it would never happen, the way millie likes to hide her true feelings even though they're painfully obvious (to everyone except sirius).

they're going to be in love and scared of it together, at least, and that's what counts. forever? maybe and i hope so because the two of them together are too perfect to not last forever. i just really loved this story and reading about sirius and millie through their crazy antics, bottled up feelings, fake dating that's not really fake and the way both of them changed little by little during the story.

excuse me, millie white! sirius absolutely deserves another chance and there's no way you can not give it to him, seriously!

millie's reminiscing at the start of this chapter was really sad - it's always like that with seventh year stories when the characters you've grown to love have to leave the familiar confines of hogwarts, a place they called home for seven years and embark into adulthood. especially when what awaits them is war. it's great that nobody was seriously injured in the death eater attack but the sheer terror it caused was surely felt across the castle - and obviously, not just that one attack, but all the disappearances and attacks on muggles and muggleborns, as well.

i love how you manage to balance out the scary things that voldemort and death eaters mean with something so beautiful as two teenagers (adults in the wizarding world) being in love with each other. it's something the death eaters and voldemort can't stop, can't do anything about it - love is there and they can't fight it (which is what ultimately brings voldemort down, as we know). and even in a fairly light hearted story like this one, i think it's great that you've incorporated some of the threat that the wizarding world faces. both millie and sirius know that they want to fight in the war and portect their friends (who are both of their families since they don't have their own anymore).

their whole exchange was very sweet to read, especially sirius' blurted out declaration of love, but he wouldn't be sirius if it didn't come out like that. and i'm glad he told her finally!

(and also i'm happy that after 30+ chapters i finally found out how millie's parents died - i did suspect it was death eater related but it's nice when a mystery is solved. it just goes to show how much millie has grown as a person and how her relationship with sirius has changed when she has no qualms about talking to him about her family).

the way millie's father made her fall in love with reading with chocolate frogs is very original (and obviously a good way to do something like that) and also very cute.

i see sirius is being as frustrating as ever - i don't understand why he couldn't act like a normal person and just talk to millie and tell her how he feels, but at least with ignoring her (or simply respecting her wishes) he is managing to get a reaction out of her so at least there is that. but the little notes he puts on the chocolate frogs are adorable - let's hope millie softens up enough for her to actually listen to what he has to say.

and okay, lol at millie planning to stumble into sirius and giving him a note like some sort of spy - what's wrong with actually talking abut things when you can reenact james bond or something?

well, it seems millie is coming to her senses and realising she wasn't really fair to sirius. she finally started talking to him after everything that's happened.

i can't believe sirius is hanging out in the hospital wing as a dog just to be close to millie. he should just gather up his courage (we know he is brave) and try and talk to her. tell her he loves her. do something instead of pretending all the time (now he's a dog, before he was pretending to be with her and all that). i know he wants to be close to her but after everything, after realising he is in love with her, i would have expected more from him. and from millie, as well - i would have expected she would be at least willing to listen to him instead of still thinking about how  to avoid him.

and yes, remus! finally someone who is trying to make these two silly people see the truth. please convince sirius to do something about this whole mess! remus is a really smart guy and i truly hope sirius listens to him and fixes things. and that millie is in a mood to listen to sirius. and forgive him. and love him.

this was certainly an explosive (pun intended!) chapter - i can't believe that the death eaters actually managed to attack hogsmeade! regulus seemed shifty though - did he know anything about the explosions? from the way he talked to sirius and the way he hesitated before he said 'blasts' i got the feeling that he knew more than he was letting on. though i don't believe he is actually evil and his character is one of my favourites from the books even though we don't actually see much of him or know a lot about him.

sirius' desperation when he thought millie was really badly hurt was difficult to read, but he saved her! he brought her to the castle and from the sound of her injuries, if he hadn't done that she would have probably died from blood loss. he finally realised he loved her - and i agree that he was stupid for taking so long to realise that, it was obvious around christmas, and even before that. but hopefully millie will be more likely to forgive him and actually listen to him now that he saved her life.

you are absolutely evil. i had really hoped that they would have gotten back together after their talk in the kitchens. but obviously, i was very wrong. sirius is dreadfully bad at explaining himself - i mean, who, in their right mind, would say that he was with millie to make marissa jealous when in reality that was never quite true! he should have done a much better job of telling her that he likes her or loves her or whatever he feels about her. and millie! she needs to stop being so damn stubborn and just accept the fact that sirius likes her. and she needs to start trusting him because if i were him, i would be at least a tiny bit hurt that she wouldn't believe him, his explanation, however bad he was at actually explaining things.

they need to get back together soon because my heart hurts - i really love both of them and just want them to be happy!

my heart goes out to both sirius and millie. they're both hurting right now and it really isn't sirius' fault and if she would just give him the opportunity to talk to her, to explain things, i think she might forgive him.

maybe i am wrong because millie can be incredibly stubborn, especially when it comes to sirius. but ignoring him won't solve anything and she still loves him. so i hope she'll actually show up at the kitchens after dinner. sirius deserves this chance to try and convince her to actually be with him for real, no more of the fake dating stuff, no more wondering if what they have is real or not. i'm not quite sure about millie's reaction at his explanation or whether she will believe him but i really hope she does. she currently still wants to kill him or curse him but if he explains things properly, there's hope. even with someone as stubborn and insecure as millie. sirius needs to turn up his charm at like 1000% and be persuasive as hell.

sirius is still as sweet as ever - he really is the perfect boyfriend, fussing over millie's comfort and wanting to stay with her. and it was quite obvious he was a little scared that she was badly hurt, even with madam pomfrey's wonderful ability to put back together quidditch players after they fall down. and he really has it bad for millie. he can't keep denying that he might be in love with her (but of course he will because love is too scary, isn't it?)

god no, drunk sirius with marissa is a bad bad idea. of course millie saw the two of them and i'm not sure if she'll ever trust him again, with all her insecurity! i'm not sure if she'll ever talk to him again. stupid marissa. sirius needs to fix this asap.

are sirius and millie finally together then? without the fake prefix to their relationship? it sounds like they are and i'm really happy for them!

okay, it actually seems like they haven't talked about what their relationship is. and sirius is being dim - he is obviously in love with her, he just doesn't want to admit it. here's hoping he does think up and do something romantic for valentine's day with millie.

millie really needs the title of queen of denial - how could she even think that first, sirius would forget, and second, that they were anything but together, for real? how could she doubt he liked her by this point in time!

and a dinner date with sirius sounds wonderful - hopefully millie can rest assured that he does like her now. a romantic picnic in the forbidden forest might sound a tiny bit dangerous but obviously, it's incredibly romantic. and sirius is in love with millie! yeah you are, sirius, stop trying to deny it. their date was perfect.

i think millie has some issues with her logic, especially when it comes to sirius and his playboying ways - how exactly does she come to the conclusion that being in a steady relationship for two months actually confirms his womanising ways? but at least she wouldn't be against more snogging with sirius, though i don't actually believe her that that's all she wants to to with him, because honestly, they've been doing a lot of stuff together for two months and she had fun and she realised he was a nice and decent guy. so she's just deluding herself, but that's okay, she'll come to her senses. i think.

millie's christmas morning with sirius might have started out with her threatening to kill him, but i'm definitely glad that it proceeded to be much more enjoyable. sirius' gift to her is lovely, but is he ever going to tell her the meaning behind it? but that ending! god, they're both so silly and perfect.

i love how hard sirius has to try to control himself around millie in order to not just ravish her (or merely snog her, it's almost the same thing really!). i'm not sure why millie still doesn't believe that he is, in fact, sincere when he tells her that she is beautiful and amazing or that he cares about her but i'm hoping he will manage to convince her he is, and soon! they're too adorable and perfect for each other to not be together.

millie's confession about how she is going to feel very lonely without him was really touching and i bet sirius was just mentally jumping up and down from joy when he heard that.

and millie's explanation for not wanting to dance is actually hilarious but i see her point. that just gives sirius the perfect excuse to dance alone with her and i'm definitely down for that! they kissed again and it was sweet but what is sirius doing, pulling away? okay, i understand his reasoning but still.

yes, millie things are changing for the better and i love it!
