Hey! Here for our swap :D Wow. This story was breathtakingly beautiful from start to finish. Your use of language was so delicate and intricate and woven together to make these incredible detailed moments. What a lovely sentiment to settle into too! These opposites finding one another and learning from one another as they grow - love it! I love how you explain this woman as claiming more space then others, that's such a keen observation of someone that's free and weightless. She's not bothered by the thought that she could be in someone's way, she's just being. Such a contrast to our wallflower sweating from "wool and anxiety" - such a good fucking line. The way she's layered in clothes as a visual way of being sheltered and closed off. And the coat rack numbers! The way you used that to show how long they each had been there - brilliant. Oh and I really loved the phrase 'tethered to the moment'. The way our lead can get stuck in her head and this lover pulls her back to reality, grounds her, keeps her present. Freaking love the way you wrote that out. Don't even get me started on the line about her musician's hands. I mean are you kidding me?! Tugging heartstrings and playing like a fiddle - how do you even think to write something so punny and beautiful and tragic and elegent and perfect?! Seriously, such a gorgeous piece you've written here. Lyrical and visual and emotive and honest and maybe even a bit melancholy, but that's what makes it tender and beautiful. - Jacquelin

The lyrical language you've provided made for delightful reading.  I'm really impressed by your control of the emotional interactions of your characters - especially when you manage to limit the use of any material elements.  Keeping everything internal is brilliant.  Thanks, this was excellent.
