This chapter was absolutely hysterical! Also, the flavors of those smoothies sound so yummy! But also sound pretty dangerous. I am pretty sure I would totally be sloshed too from drinking those!

 

My top two favorite moments without a doubt: Toyla realizing everyone is drunk after he finishes his poetry reading, but not caring because, they showed up, so that counts for something. And then drunk!Alina with Mal. Also, I love the title of their chat. It seriously gave me all the feels in the world. 

 

And the "appearance" of Nikolai this chapter! I am all :eyes: for that and the potential it brings. I really hope you continue with this story, Ashley! You're doing such a great job of conveying these characters through chatfic.

 

Also, two more things, Nadia is a total sweetheart in this and I am here for that. And the image of David just going along to the poetry reading because Genya forced him to, brought a smile to my face. I wonder if he will likewise force her somewhere and she'll mention it to her friends in future.

Hi Ashley, here for the review event!

 

Lol Zoya in an acting class sounds hilarious! I can totally see her being over that in about five seconds hah. And of course Genya is the resident peacekeeper and bringer of cheer. I appreciate the way you also write Alina in this too with her wry sense of humor. This is such a hilarious chatfic and I love the way you've written all of these characters! 

 

LOL at Tolya doing open mic poetry night! But I can see that too. Him and Tamar are always spouting philosophical stuff in the series, so I can definitely see the parallels in this modern setting. 

 

And boozy smoothies? I want some lol! 

 

I love the friendship dynamic you have established between the girls in this opening chapter, now I cannot wait for them to "dish," in the next one (and hopefully more!).
