Hi, Noelle,

This is something different -- I knew absolutely nothing about She-Ra and the Princesses of Power until seeing this tiny story of yours.  So I thought I'd give it a try.

After a quick read-through that took only a couple of minutes, I decided that I needed to look up She-Ra on the internet. so I read all about it.  For an animated science-fiction/fantasy program, it certainly received high praise (although a certain segment of the population must be clutching their pearls).  I figured out who Hordak, Entrapta, Catra, Double Trouble, and Horde Prime were, and what the situation in this tiny story was.

It's a sad bit of story, but it was fun to do the detective work of finding out who these people were and what was going on.  One feels sympathy for Hordak, and I was happy to read in the Wikipedia article about Hordak that he has a happy ending at the end of the series.

I admire your energy in writing in so many different fandoms --  a little of this, a little of that.  I wonderd if the "She-Ra and the Princesses of Power" series was something you had been watching with your children, since I saw in my internet research that the series had received honors as a show for families and children.  And then, while watching it, perhaps you got an bright idea for writing a moment in the She-Ra story, just because it's fun to have these tiny ideaas and not just let them go.

The thoughts were nicely expressed, as you always do, and it was fun to read it.

Author's Response:

I watched the original She-Ra as a kid, and it stuck with me well into adulthood. It was very exciting when they rebooted it, because while the OG She-Ra was fun, the new version is a tighter story, and has a lot more depth to it. All the characters are well thought out, and the plot of the story is very well executed. When I got to the episode where Hordak literally starts crying over Entrapta, I paused watching the show to look for a fic about that moment. And since I couldn't find one, I dashed off this little piece to fill the void.
