This was a fun and imaginative story.  I really enjoyed it.  Maybe there are other stories in the archives featuring Celestina, but if so, I have never encountered any of them.  So I was glad to see how you envisioned her character.  (I could use some of her elixir to make me look 20 or 25 years old again!.)

 

I think you have Gilderoy Lockhart's character spot on.  It doesn't take much to manipulate him, just a suggestion of a new book he could write glorifying himself.  Even a mundane job as a teacher at Hogwarts could be spun into an exciting fiction obout his year teaching the famous Harry Potter.

 

Of course there are details in the plot that are not fully expained, such as the significance of the diamonds (necklace, ring, and one more stone--were they things Gilderoy had stolen?), but that doesn't matter, because the central plot of the story is the relationship/manipulation between Albus, Celestina, and Gilderoy.

 

An original cast and concept.  Thank you for writing.

I really had fun writing Celestina in this story. I almost felt sorry for her at the end. 

I also enjoyed writing Dumbledore and how he always seemed to be a few steps ahead of others.
