Ohh I love the decision to end on this note, with the last chapter being a throwback to when they had only just met each other. It's a cheeky and fun thing to do with the chronology after we've seen all these other scenes of them together through the years. I'm a sucker for a love at first sight 'I'm going to marry her' moment. <3
JAMES. CONFIDENT AS FUCK POTTER. Of course you would XD This collection was so brilliant and funny and witty and charming and warm and fuzzy and fluffy and heart-wrenching when I think about it for too long so instead I'm just going to remember how adorable these two are and how much you've made me love them with your amazing scenes. <3 Seriously. Be proud of this collection. So so good.
They way he didn't want to spin her away again I.AM.NOT.OKAY! </3 but also like all the :heart eyes: Yes legends. Play that song on repeat until 4am. Fuck the rest of them this night is yours and live in it forever :D Except James wants to get to the happily ever after <3 SWOON!
Oh I love that you expanded on this moment from having mentioned it earlier in the collection. That really just makes all of these moments feel connected and telling the full story of these two. And HOW CUTE! James ever the gentleman. Lily. Ever the drunk XD The way she says he's her favorite XD I can see this scene so clearly in my head. Love Love it.
And I've loved the mentions of padfoot throughout this story too! I keep forgetting to comment on it because the end of each chapter leaves me screaming XD but the way Sirius is a part of their lives is wonderful.
And now I'm banging my head against the keyboard because I can.not.take.how.cute.they.are.
Legit laughed out loud at James being like - oh that's great cause I totally ate the pie...and the other pie XD So sharp. So funny.
And Lily having every reason to be scared and unsure and James just coming in with that Potter arrogance that makes him so steady and certain and hopeful. Wonderful. Just brilliant.
Just me. Screaming at a computer screen. <3 I can't handle how cute these two are. Sir. You're being chased down by death eaters trying to kill you. And still the moment he gets a chance he's like- let me tell you how adorable our future is going to be XD I just love them. I love how defiant they are about this darkness chasing them. How hopeful they are. Oh it breaks my heart but is also just giving me all the warm and fuzzies. SO FUCKING GOOD.
I just love the way your write these two. They're so invested in one another. They're so entertwined. I just love that. I love that Lily sees James in a different way now that's gotten to really know him. Ugh I just love everything about these two and I'm pretending this collection goes on forever and so does their happiness <3 <3 <3
AHHHHHHH!!!!! <3 <3 <3 SO CUTE! So simple and so short but so so effective <3 I seriously will just flail if I keep at this review so imagine me running in circles screaming about how cute these two are and you've got my review of this chapter XD
SWOON! <3 That's it. That's the review. A.fucking.dorable. James being so invested in fair food XD And I'm choosing to ignore the fact they they're all in disguise because great evil is after them and instead focusing on James sticking his tongue out at his child XD Seriously though I love that you had those details in here. The way they push through the darkness and find the light...huh...kinda like fireworks ;)
I'm so here for the Snitch fidget spinner XD Love how James opens up to Lily in this <3 And the way she reacts too. Understanding and open-minded. And that they don't even notice that the clouds have rolled in because they're just so invested in one another. Oh this chapter was such a warm hug! <3
XD The way he was just gonna drop his pants in the common room is so on brand XD Seriously, in even these short short chapters you've captured the way James is as charming as he is entitled and that's so impressive. <3 <3 <3
I. Am. DYING! XD XD XD This collection is so fucking funny. Seriously I just go from swooning to cracking up with every exchange. The wit you capture in James is just perfection and Lily is always there with the callback and payoff XD This chapter is seriously one of the most witty and clever things I've read in while.
:Heart Eyes: at James reading her favorite book <3 And equal lauhter for her giving zero fucks about his favorite sport XD XD XD I love how you're approaching these prompts. There's so much swoon-worthy fluff in these chapters and I am eating it all up!

Ok. I know that the 'fun' he wants to have on the mattress is the sexy variety, but I whole-heartedly love the idea that the first though James has when sitting on the new mattress is how high he could bounce on it. Like. He just wants to jump up and down a few times XD XD XD So fucking funny. Another lovely chapter! You do such a good job just dropping the reader into these scenes and have these two's personalities so distinct and clear. Love Love Love

Ok. You don't know me like this. But I'mma bout to flail and scream all through this story so hold tight XD Before I even touch on this opening chapter I gotta give props to that summary becuase EXCUSE ME?! "Before they died they lived and oh how they loved" A.Mazing.
And this opening chapter is everything! I laughed out loud more than once. You've captued these two so well! James is obnoxious in the best way and Lily grounds him while still having that mischief in her. :chefs kiss:

First of all, always love to see Muggle pop culture details that are specific to the time period! The Marauder era is so great for it, being the 70's, and I always wish there was more of it! Marauders in leisure suits, etc. XD
Everyone crying, stahhhhhp. I love it. Though oof that little angst about Sirius having vowed not to cry again "after running away from home." *weep* But also, I like that detail because I'm here for more depictions of men showing emotions.
Which brings us to James, and tbh I love that despite being this very hopeless romantic, he is the only one not crying because he's just so seriously and intensely happy, I just love this detail.
And Lily singing to him and touching his cheek, this is just so unabashedly romantic and earnest and just gives you the sense of two people who are just so happy to be here.
Also great ending, glad to see some people seizing the opportunity to enjoy their own wedding day!

Is this my favorite of the collection so far? I think it might be.
It feels so... idk, so real? So relatable? So very perfectly imperfect a way to finally admit feelings?
Lily had a bit too much of the truth serum and it finally came out. And the way James is like "omg" but also trying to temper his response and expectations bc he thinks she's just wasted and saying whatever. But then she pushes and he gets to say it to her and ahhhhhh. Amazing. It's so lovely. And that she asks him to say it again the next day. s.lkdghSJ I would love to see how that conversation went!
I was halfway expecting one of the other boys or Sirius/Marlene to overhear them and tease them or complain or something, but maybe James had the werewithal to use a charm for privacy. XD
Ok can we talk about how gentlemanly? First that his initial plan is to cuddle up with Sirius so Lily can have his bed to herself! And then when that's no longer an option, not only planning to sleep downstairs, but when he draws the curtains and he feels strange about having Lily in an enclosed space, like he doesn't want to be overstepping boundaries. Our boy is growing up!

Ok but --
“Wonderful news. I finished it off for breakfast. I was worried it was going to be a disaster.”
sdkjfh;sdjdf I cackled. Their banter is wonderful and believable. Sometimes banter can get overblown, which is fine stylistically sometimes, but I can really see a married couple, and particularly them, chatting like this. It's cheeky but mellow.
I need to just express my admiration for that magical detail of all the dark magic having the ability to mess with women's cycles -- I LOVE creative magical details and this is one I've never seen and it makes so much sense and just -- it's a small thing but bravo.
And the use of "wonderful" twice? First glib and then so earnest? Ahh, that's the stuff.

You took us for a little twist here, at first I thought this was going to be their Godric's Hollow home (though idk, now that I think about it, maybe a bit weird to buy the house you found while running from Death Eaters?) XD
James and his visions of treehouses and the kid(s!!!) being able to openly fly on their brooms, and a cat and *pleading face*
omg however... the proposal?? (I mean, was this the proposal? idk but the point is -- ) the "go on then." Brilliant. XD

This is so sweet in so many different ways. First of all, the trope of falling asleep together innocently before they're ready for sex and him being not just okay with that but honestly pretty thrilled just to be in the room? A+ Will never not love it.
And then, demi Lily! I love it. It's true they wouldn't have had the terminology for it, and I feel like so many people have had this experience, not feeling sexual attraction without being in love/ deeply connected, but it was never recognized as like a natural functioning of your body. There are so many other things that were always so wrapped up in it -- like making it into a morality thing, or like in some cases it could be because without any prior sexual experience you're not even really sure what true sexual attraction is and what it means? Idk, it's just a very confusing area of life when you're young and just starting to experience dating, let alone being ace or demi and sort of trying to figure out what are the reasons you seem to feel differently than everyone around you are acting.
But like, the fantastic punchline at the end of this chapter??? James, I love you.

I can imagine James' enthusiasm at being outside and enjoying street food (what's better than food, am I right? :P) especially if they'd been into hiding for so long... :/ It's sad that they need polyjuice just to spend a few hours out of the house and around people, and I think you described the awkwardness of it so well, but definitely worth it for those few hours of freedom! I wonder how Harry felt about all that, but I suppose a baby's bond to his parents is more instinctual and he would know them even if they are disguised? I have no idea if that's true, but I think it might be...
I love how James is so enthusiastic about the food, anyway! Lily rolling her eyes, but actually being amused by it, is so Lily! :D
Ah, I love your use of the fireworks prompt! I bet they must've been spectacular! I love how James is like "What could be so special about them?" but then he's immediately stunned by them! <3 And awww, Lily's response!!! "You're real magic too" It's so sweet and romantic! I love it so much! <3

Jem! Such a meaningful piece truly!
I love that you used the snitch and its peculiar constant reappearance as a way to explain this larger, more intimate matter at hand. James revealing this piece of himself to Lily speaks to the growth in their budding relationship, his trust in her, which opens him up to being more vulnerable. And there's that little defense mechanicism that so many of us have, where we try to play off these things about us as an apology. Which James does by listing what he perceives to be his faults as a result of his ADHD, but Lily just sees as things that are HIM/HIS PERSONALITY. And she loves all of him regardless, which is truly heartwarming and lovely.
I also love how the prompt just acts as a poignant ending to this piece. They've been talking for hours, they're so invested in the convo that they don't even realize the skys about to open up all around them. It speaks to their love and the attention they are giving one another in the moment. Truly sweet!

The progression of this is absolutely golden! Like I adore how it's a drunk!James decision (that seems VERY likely). And Sirius, of course was involved in this! And I love how Lily is mildly annoyed, but mostly amused by it. Also, shame on that tattoo artists for giving drunk!James a tattoo lol. But I guess that accounts for how bad it looks. They likely went to a shady place to get it done.
And on his butt hahah. Like of course, he had to get it some place intimate but also comical. I love how Lily is mildly turned on by it too LOL. Once again, loving the smutty implication at the ending here!
You really portray them with such joy and hilarity that it instantly gives me all the good feels. :) Another prompt well done!

Jem! I LOVED that you took the prompt here! Like how excellent to have this originally center around a baby Harry. You capture new parenthood so well! You definitely don't want to breathe whenever you get a new baby to sleep hah. So the superstitution regarding the "s-word," was sooo relatable to me LOL.
I also loved how this took on a little cheeky air too. Which s-word indeed? ;) But yes, sex is not the first thing on your mind when marathon parenting new babes, so again, absolutely relatable and endearing.
