Wow, this whole thing radiates anime vibes! Great way to pull me into the world! I don’t watch the Pokemon anime, but I’ve seen bits and pieces in passing, and I think you’ve completely nailed the feel for it in the opener.

Dedenne is such a cute little critter! I play Pokemon Go, so I get all the cuties with none of the lore. My son fills me in on things sometimes, but I’m a collector, so that’s as far as my interest lies. 

I love how you describe Ash’s ability to think as something he can do more clearly when he’s not around his peers. There is something to that, that quiet you get when people around you stop moving. I feel happy for him that he’s found a family and is feeling secure. 

The growth moment was really well done, as was the sweet kiss, and yes, I agree that symmetry is awesome, so why wouldn’t their second kiss be in the same place as their first? I also like that Clemont and Bonnie were responsible for bringing them together. ????
