Hi Anony Mous (rhymes with muss),

I didn’t realize you had this on the site, so I’m taking advantage of the forum review event to check it out.  (Be forewarned – I know very little about Pokemon beyond Pikachu being a little yellow bunny-monkey-critter.)

Okay, I lied a little about not knowing anything about Pokemon.  I’ve seen enough of Ash and Pikachu’s gym battles to be able to picture the fight you’ve set up here and follow along even if I’m not familiar with Seel or Pichu.  You describe the action quite well and it’s almost like I can see the animation in my head as you go through the conflict.  I like the way that you paint Daisy with a dismissive cockiness that – perhaps – makes her sloppy and causes her to overlook the lightning attack at the end.  It’s reminiscent of the ‘tortoise and the hare’ where the tortoise is the ‘idiot’ who beat Daisy with his tiny pichu.  It looks like you had fun writing this.   Thanks for sharing it.
