Hey, I'm back again for a galazy review!

 

"Your spoons don't match" HAHAHA!! And then Al's spoons creep into the conversation and before they know it, Scorpius's whole family is getting discussed. Yeah, Narcissa wouldn't be the warmest mother-in-law in existence, and as she begins to lose her icy-cold marbles, it must be very tempting to put her in a home. Good on the family for being able to take care of her at home.

 

At this point, Rose and Scorpius getting drunk together could be heaven...or Hell. I'm going with the latter...She might regret the whoe 'mi casa is su casa' thing...

 

"Running is less...wetting" and 'Troll smut' BAHAHA! I don't know how you do it, but your ability to write dialogue and create scenes just blows me away with its brilliance <3 And I am LMAO throughout this, even at the bits I'm probably not supposed to find funny, but I can relate to, like the delicate art of balancing shower taps (I even struggle with my own some days). 

 

Aww, and Scorpius falling asleep with his head on Rose's shoulder - JUST STOPPP!! It's too cute and I want them together like NOW, Kthanks <3

Hey, I'm here for a galazy review! I love the premise of this story and I'm excited to dive in :)

 

I am CACKLING already at Rose's snide 'don't choke on all that negativity' and Scorpius's 'knack for ruining everything in this world' followed by Scorpius's dry response of 'everything was already ruined'. And the aftershock of Rose's eruptions as she has yet another go at Scorpius.

 

I'm intrigued to know where Rose and Scorpius actually work because I would LOVE a workplace with 29 kittens - I mean, you can't be mad when you have kittens to cuddle, right? The Yin-Yang detail about who delivers what news is just perfect for their characters, Rose getting all the good news and Scorpius being the bearer of the bad - is this some kind of news-reporting office or something? Somewhere that requires an Auror Kneazle <3 Maybe I'll find out soon. This story is legit so bloody funny already, I love it, haha!!

 

The fact that Rose knows without askign just how Scorpius likes his coffe (or even just knows he likes coffee and not tea, for instance) is a sure sign that things aren't as bad as they seem between the two of them. And that Scorpius wants to push Astro Girl aside and comfort Rose himself. Even though he doesn't like crying girls (baby panda?? Don't you DARE have killed off the baby panda :wail: ). I have hope for Scorose, I really do...

 

Ugh NO!! Just as things are warming up nicely between them - they were really bonding over the incompetent dragonologist story - Fiona from Arts and Warts gets Scorpius's pants down AND I AM BROKEN :(((( Bloody Fiona.

 

Yes, of course no one can replace Rose, not even Marnie. Marnie can't even come close. Pickle in unhappiness, Scorpius. You brought it on yourself, idiot.

 

Aww, I wasn't expecting the repair quite so soon, but I'm back basking in the warmth of what Rose and Scorpius currently share. Well, maybe it's only tepid at the moment, but I'm back to hoping for good fireworks soon.

 

This was an AMAZING first chapter. I am already totally in love with this story <3

Okay I continue to love the banter between Rose and Scorpius here. I love the fact that she’s judging everything about her apartment, down to the fact that her spoons are mismatched and random. I also love Rose mentally deciding to crumble Scorpius if he doesn’t stop.

 

I really liked the details about Narcissa’s aging, and I think it’s really fitting that she wouldn’t want Draco to marry Astoria; from what we know about Astoria her family wasn’t super keen on blood purity and I highly doubt that’s a match Narcissa would have wanted for Draco. And it seems very much like Scorpius to try and make other people uncomfortable with that detail of Narcissa thinking he’s Draco.

 

I love Rose being melodramatic about Scorpius wanting alcohol.

 

I love how casually Scorpius mentions that he thought Rose was extremely beautiful when they were sitting on the couch because aaaahhhh. Also Rose using Scorpius as a footrest is such a cute image and they’re so cute and oh my gosh the chemistry is amazing and you’ve done such a good job writing them.

 

I think Rose would enjoy Scorpius if he did strip to his underpants and sing poor renditions of the Weird Sisters. The fact that she’s trying to keep herself busy seems to hint at it. Also I love that Scorpius picked up on her awkwardness.

 

I love that Scorpius went through her books and found one that was very embarrassing for Rose and flipped to a part that he knew would embarrass her as he read it out loud. I also love how he calms her down by telling her, essentially, that he’s read worse. They’re so cute for each other.

 

I love the mental image of Scorpius’s war with the showerheads and I love how grumpy he is and their chenistry is so goood. Also Scorpius is getting adorably angry at Rose’s exes for dumping her and is so protective and I love it. I love how he makes her feel better. I know how this ends because I validated it but they’re so cute and they need to get married.

 

I love the fact that Rose is snuggling into Scorpius against the storm. My heart.

 

I love the hatred of Fletcher. I don’t think we’ve met Fletcher but he sounds terrible.

 

Oh, I very much wish Rose had stayed there snuggled with Scorpius on the couch.

 

I loved this (as you know) and I will be back later for more!

Hi there! I wanted to leave you a review that was more comprehensive and intelligible than my screamy validator notes because I loved this fic sooo much. I mean, I can’t guarantee that it will be any less screamy but I will try :p

 

So first of all I just absolutely love the good news/bad news concept that you’ve anchored this fic around. It creates such an amazing dynamic between Rose and Scorpius and it also fits them so well. Also the premise of this is just so good and leads to so many cute moments between them I can’t. And I love their mutual hatred of Fletcher.

 

I love the introduction to this chapter – it really drew me in. I also think that showing Rose’s angry temper tantrums compared with how you depicted her later in the chapter really showed the complexity of her character. I’m particularly thinking of the scene where Astro Girl interrupts Rose’s yelling by giving her a hug.

 

Love the banter between Rose and Scorpius as they go through the news. Also this “She had absolutely no idea of how wrapped around her little finger she had him - she just kept accidentally tugging at the string, pulling him along like a helpless, flailing puppet. Her coffee, her chairs, her smile, all of them loosening hell inside him without giving the slightest hint as to whether or not she knew she was doing so.” My heart! It’s so cute and such a good depiction of romantic feelings.

 

I really feel for Scorpius here. He’s definitely Screwed Up Big Time, and he knows it, and Rose is justifiably mad at him, and he’s trying to fix it with Rose but not really doing all that good a job. Also part of me thinks that the reason Rose is so mad is because she was subconsciously attracted to him.

 

The line about Scorpius feeling like Rose’s apartment was home – after being there for like 10 seconds – is so cute and also very foreshadowing of the rest of the fic. This man is very much head over heels in love. And his reaction to seeing some of his writing on her highlights board was so cute, and her Very Bad attempt at being casual was even cuter. The chemistry in this fic was done so well! They’re so cute!
