Hey Taylor,
I'm here to judge for my 'flashback' challenge! I love the beginning because it's creating a bit of mystery about what's he is doing and where he is. It kinda hooks me into the fic. The first flashback is just snippet of something happening but I really love it already but it gives sense of relationship between the characters. I love how she describes why he is hard to miss. I like the build up of them just by that line.
I love how you're teasing out the storyline like unfolding what happened to them via the flashbacks really works so well. I love how the change of POV of the narrator too. I think that works so well because honestly there is always two sides to a break up. I think to get full emotional effect. the split narrator is a really good choice. It's heartbreaking that the reader can see that Lily is pulling back from James. she feels further away from him. there is uneasy as the a story progresses. I think you've done a great job at building up to that moment.
I feel for James so much, like that, a really tough thing to go through as a person. on another note, I'm really loving how much you're building up their world like the town that never changes and the town that is so much of their history even in a one-shot you have brilliant worldbuilding skills. I thought this was such a beautiful put together piece. It was so emotional and the flashback were perfectly played, I love how they entwined so completely to make the story what it is.
Thank you so much for entering my challenge! I'm hoping to have these all judged soon but I feel like I'm going at a snail pace so well :P

Hey There :D Reppin for the Frost Kittens!!!
This was such a cool take on this challenge! I love how you weaved the stories of those two songs into one like epic saga of a love tale :D :D :D
There were so many delicious references to the songs, but it still felt very organic and like true to the narrative you laid out. I think your choice to bounce between the past and the present was such a cool way to add depth to their relationship and you made great choices in where to bounce back to when...if that makes sense????
damn it i love this so much it so good!!! it's sad and heartbreaky but the way you ended it makes so much sense and tbh now i want the fluffy cute as fuck sequel *_*
also all the ways in which you incorporated the lyrics were a+++ i love it
and the flashback + what's happening right now felt really good, as in..idk i sometimes feel like flashbacky stuff can feel out of place in a story but it definitely wasn't the case here - they felt well placed and hurt all my feels but in a good way bc i like hurting when it ends well :P
