Hi Taylor! Here for the review event.

 

Chapter 1: Aaah I love the little bit of banter between them and the sexual tension. Lily’s narration of James being so warm and them cuddling was so cute, and then they kissed fjsdklfjf. Also very curious about this happening in chapter 1 of new romantics because oh man were they hiding for longer than I thought.

 

Chapter 2: I loved this conversation between them. The banter was cute, and I really liked how open and mature the discussion was about what they wanted from their Thing and how serious they wanted to be, and James making it clear that he liked Lily but would respect whatever she wanted *more keysmashing* Also I love how casual their decision to not advertise their relationship was (and how long it lasted but I told you that elsewhere).

 

Chapter 3: I love Lily explaining the white lie t-shirt idea to James, it is so devious and then her just casual mention of “we should go have sex” like we all know she wants it anyways and this is a very convenient way.

 

Chapter 4: “Hi” is a hilariously awkward way for them both to start that scene with. Also love the communication between the two of them, and James asking permission to do stuff. “Like you haven’t died on far dumber hills” lol this was hilarious.

 

Chapter 6: The discussion about things being coincidences was hilarious. Also no wonder their friends took so long to figure things out.

 

Chapter 7: I love the discussion about how oblivious all their friends are. It was so hilarious in the main fic and it’s still hilarious now (also that “great pals” line? A+)

 

Chapter 14: I love the “I love you” discussion. The “um”s from each of them was pretty funny IMO and their banter was a great way to end this fic. (Also on an unrelated note I love how your endnote is literally just “lol.”)
