Hi there!
This was such an interesting fic. I think you've actually made me feel a bit sorry for Peter, because he was essentially used for information and to think you love someone so much that you want to spend your whole life with them and then for it all to be a lie. That must have been such a shock for him, and really hurt as well.
This is an interesting way to look at where the blame actually lies though. Obviously Peter told him, and he shouldn't have done that, but would you if the person you loved was in danger? Would Peter not have been in that position if Sirius was nicer and he felt like he could have told his friends the name of the woman he loved? Would they have then recognised her and be able to warn him off? I think it's a hard situation that ultimately ends in tragedy, for more than just James and Lily.
This was a fab fic!

Author's Response:Thanks :)
Ah, yes. It's fun to write Peter because he has the good and bad side. The story is supposed to make you feel sorry for Peter, and compounded by Sirius' behaviour. The extra sad componant was that Sirius was detecting Peter's deception. He just didn't get there quick enough.
Sometimes when I write this gap in the story, I want to change it. I want Peter to stay loyal. What a different story we'd have if Lily and James survived.
