I haven't read your writing for ages and I forgot how much I love it, you have such a sweet, natural style of writing that's so enjoyable to read. And while I'm not familiar with these characters, I get the sense of their friendship dynamic and that they're so close and have been friends for years. That's only from the first scene!

 

Omg Vic and Gallagher are the cutest ever, I love reading them so much. I'm going to have to scour your AP for more after this!

this was so amazing oh my god, i mean I’ve just read Gallagher’s account of this evening recently, but being here for the whole scene was awesome. First off i love these kids so much, they’re a hilarious bunch and it must be just so cool to have friends like that, with whom you could joke about anything and feel so comfortable around. Haha and i liked your first line about Gillian being old enough to buy them beer and ashamed enough to leave them alone.

Vic calling G her pillow and distillery is something they can say at the wedding, ' thus began the long story of me falling in love with her' i love it haha. And then that entire scene is just so much glorious fluff but also laughs, drunk vic is adorable and funny, i love how she just goes for it: play with my hair pls yay head orgasm take off your shirt now let me touch you yay, I mean the fact that Gallagher managed to control himself astounds me and I love him for it.

And OH OH OH! BUSTED!!! “I will remind you of this once you’re dating somebody” and he told her in shenanigans, which means that he sees them as dating too and that it is real (not that I doubted it) and reading that just made me squeal from joy, and also it’s so funny to read when you know all that’s about to happen between them, I’m just sitting here smiling like a fucking mona lisa, like lol you guys you have no idea, but you’re gonna like it!!

YES! Always guilt your loved ones into doing things for you, I love that! Also so here for Gallagher’s dad basically shrugging and going “whatever” when told that Gallagher was gonna move. Quintessential dad vibes! Also idk why but I love the phrase “far from sober”.

Also all of their banter is just so funny. I mean I know they’re “far from sober” (such a great line!) but I still love it! Gallagher’s non-chalantness and Lexy’s/(micah’s) joke about… timing! ;)

LOL at Micah’s sister being into Vic! And even LOL-ier that they have that kind of pact! What a smart thing to do, so you don’t accidentally do something weird like bang your sister’s ex or vice versa…
