Hey Duckie! :)

I thought I’d pop in and read your DnD character’s story finally! You’ve done a great job setting up what Arie is like as a child here and her parents struggling to also deal with Arie’s medical mysteries/issues. Correct me if I’m wrong, but Arie is an elf, right? Since her parents are clearly referenced as being several hundred years old, and I feel like that’s the longest-lived classic DnD race. From this opening chapter we’re meant to figure that Arie’s growth/general medical issues likely stem from her arriving two months early into the world, but her parents obviously love her so much she doesn’t necessarily know that she’s different or that something is “wrong” with her. I’m excited to see what happens as she grows up and learns how to do more things for herself or in her own way, even if it’s not the norm. She’s a strong character and I’m so glad you’ve decided to post this to the archives! <3

Madi! I'm so sorry I didn't notice this review until now. Arie is an elf. I didn't realize I didn't put that in. I'll have to edit it and figure out a good place to reveal that. Yes, all of her issues stem from her being premature and her rough birth. Her parents are super dedicated, even though they're kind of out of their element with this. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I hope you like the rest of the chapters!
