Hello! Here for a galazy review!
I was intrigued by the title and premise of this piece so thought I'd stop by. Limericks are so hard to write so you've done an amazing job crafting three of them about Hogwarts ghosts. They played a significant part in the books but I rarely see them written in fanfic.
Moaning Myrtle - what a tragic end to her short life, but she knew how to exact her revenge on the students that wronged her!! Beware the overflowing toilet indeed!
The Fat Friar - he was always portrayed as such a jolly guy, so I wonder why he chose to remain as a ghost and not move to the afterlife? I love here how he's praying for the students to try harder and do their work in one day, therefore not suffering a detention, but I expect they were hoping for something more immediately freeing!
Nearly Headless Nick - I never knew what he got (badly) beheaded for but I'm guessing it was a Transfiguration gone wrong? And the blunt axe forever condemned him to an afterlife of envy, wishing his head had been severed properly so he could be a headless horseman. Although there's nothin stopping him from starting a new trend...
This was super fun - thanks for writing!
