hi, here with your entry review for my challenge!

 

rolf was an interesting character to focus on - i don’t think i’ve read many fics, if any, where he’s the main character before. i think it’s great that you’ve managed to tie newt in here and give the two of them a close friendship - it seems like newt was probably a bit of a father figure for rolf in a way that his own father wasn’t.

 

the idea of a friendship circle that includes ginny, charlie, rolf, and luna is also such a fun idea. charlie and rolf being work colleagues, ginny and luna being good friends from school, rolf and luna being married, and ginny and charlie being siblings makes for such an interesting group where everyone’s got a different sort of connection with everyone.

 

i also think it’s interesting that you went a totally different route with back to december than the song itself - the narrative of the song is much more about love and relationships, and you’ve applied the same sentiments of regretting past actions to a different type of storyline.

Hi there!

This was a really interesting story! 

I dont think I have had the pleasure of reading about rolf before and now I desperately want more!

 

I really enjoyed the relationships between the different characters, Rolf and his grandfather, Luna and Rolf and so on. 

I liked  Barnabus' character, he made me giggle repeatedly.
