hey kate, i'm here for our review swap!
okay so i really liked the intro where albus is just thinking how he should work later than needed because he hated being without scorpius – it made me smile and it’s such a nice way to let the readers see the kind of relationship they have!
the image of albus trying to make a king sized bed the muggle way because he was bored made me giggle :P especially him ending up starfished across the mattress (i understand his struggle haha)
and aww, the moment scorpius comes home and we see albus relaxing is so sweet, not to mention the way scorpius knew he’d get worked up over him being late and knowing to bring dinner home. he seems like such a great boyfriend!
honestly, best friends turned lovers (soulmates?) is a trope i adore because for me, friendship is one of the best ways to make a foundation for a healthy and strong relationship.
i haven’t read or seen cursed child so i don’t know what exactly happened during their fourth year but i felt like it wasn’t needed because just knowing they were there for each other during a difficult time makes a lot of sense in the context of their current relationship – it made them grow closer, which is wonderful, even if it was hard.

Author's Response:Hi Kris!
Thank you so much for your lovely words, and for reading this even though you have not seen the cursed child play - it really means a lot to me and I honestly appreciate you taking your time to read and leave me a review!
I have a few headcanons about their relationship, one being that they would be slightly codependent but it would be positive for them and not toxic. I'm glad that you can see the way they need each other without thinking it weird :D
Haha, the struggle to change my own double bed is so real!! I'm like 5ft 4" and it's annoying. and so thinking about doing the same to an even bigger bed had me wheezing!!
Scorpius is the best boyfriend, isn't he! Yes, the transition they have from friends to lovers is SO important! I know you haven't read the cursed child or seen it but there is so much potential between these two that is hinted at and it gives us, the fans and writers, the free reign to explore it and I'm so glad for that! I think it's another reason why their codependency comes naturally and healthily, especially with everything they experienced.
I am super glad that you feel like although I've made references to the cursed child events, it still allows their relationship to show without knowing the context. Honestly, that's really awesome to hear so thank you!
Thank you again!
Love,
Kate x
