i love love love that you brought fred back! his death was one that hit me the hardest, especially thinking about george and how he would cope without his other half :( so i'm really happy that in this AU fred lives :D

 

hermione's really in character here, starting to explain how she knew an obscure counter curse to the one that hit fred and essentially saving his life - i don't doubt that she actually would know this stuff, she's just so smart like that ^_^

 

i think you've set up the story in a good way here - we know what's been happening in the wizarding world, hermione is working at the shop, meaning she's closer to fred than ever (and also living with the weasleys! i imagine that it must be extremely hard on her with her parents remaining obliviated :/) - i do hope that her and fred find their way to each other!

Oh my goodness! You brought Fred back!! *squee* 

I am so happy that Hermione was able to save him. If anyone would know an obscure way to save him, she defnitely would. I've read one other story where Fred comes back/never really died and the idea just makes me so happy. 

You really capture Hermione's character well. I like that she falls back on the academic side of how she what to do to save Fred -- it feels like something she'd do to mask how much she was upset over the idea of losing him. 

It's nice to read about Fred's recovery and where he and Hermione landed after the intial end of the war. This chapter really sets them up to have something between them (if only they'll cooperate and do that in a nice orderly fashion). I really hope we see George play matchmaker. Will you have Hermione look for her family and try to restore their memories? That could be something Fred is involved with.

Yay im so glad you found this one!  I have so many plans for this story that I got very over whelmed, but as soon as I can I will be uploading the next chapter of this story.  I’m really glad you’re enjoying it so much :) I actually have the next chapter finished and I’ll be getting it in the queue very soon!
