Tammi! (Now that I know this is you, I hadn't realised before haha.)  Manno recommended this story to me and it was so much fun to read and I have a massive smile on my face!

 

So many favourite lines from this story!  Please excuse me if half of this review is just me quoting them back at you :P

 

if Albus was on fire and Scorpius had a glass of water he was sure that he would only drink half of it, and then use the rest to put the flames out

 

This was an amazing line but come on Scorpius, only HALF of the glass of water??  Poor Albus!  You know you love him really.  You can't deny the truth!

 

Albus is such a damn tease!  Like all the way from the start of this, the way he's trying to get close to Scorpius because really he knows that Scorpius wants him and just is trying to resist.  You write the tension between the two of them so well and it was so much fun to read this.  I loved all the snarky dialogue between the two of them and the way you built up the tension as Albus deliberately went out of his way to spend more time with Scorpius - and *ahem* tease him.

 

"Albus, if you were my husband, I'd drink it."

 

Honestly how do you do this?  I was just laughing so much at this story and lines like these are absolute gems.  Like hell would you actually drink it, Scorpius.  You two are going to get married and live happily ever after and we all know it.

 

The closet inspectors!  Goblin or troll!  I was laughing so hard at their excuses for being in the closet and the way that Scorpius was trying to play along with Albus's insane excuses for them being there.  

 

James has a talent for getting in the way whenever they try and go in those closets, doesn't he?  Is the boy using the Marauders map to find them deliberately?  Does he just have an affinity for closets and looks in all of them, and just happening to stumble on his brother? :P

 

The ending was so amazing!  You built up the tension between them so well and then they finally just kind of admitted that they wanted each other.  But the puns!  Everything about being gay and in the closet and not being judged, I was laughing so hard because you managed to include them all so well and seamlessly and they were just so witty.  I couldn't give you a straight answer and the closet being safe, and not judgemental.  I was laughing so hard, and I could see all of it becoming an inside joke between Albus and Scorpius as they embark on their happily ever after (don't tell me that there's another way this story is ending because the two of them are now sailing off into the sunset, okay?).

 

I loved this, Tammi!  It was so much fun to read and so clever and funny!

WOAH. That was complete whiplash. I was not expecting that. I had to read it twice before it registered in my head. Albus, you are quite the saucy man. I wish I had your cojones.

In all of the fanfics I have read where they have the cliche broom closet make out scene this one is by the far the best. You should get an award. If there was a challenge on the forums to write about a broom closet scene you'd get 1st place. I'm giving you your challenge winner review right now!


"You're out of touch with reality." James slammed the door shut again, leaving the two teenagers once again in darkness.


James, you can't seriously be that air headed. Come on man. Just...even Ron wouldn't have fallen for that one. 

"Never! I like it in here," Albus yelled back. "It's safe, and not judgmental."


There are no words. Just...no words.

THIS WAS EPIC! I loved it. Every bit of it. The bad jokes. The puns. The...everything. You completely surprised me. I thought this story was going on a completely different direction when I first started reading it and then you spun it in an entirely new direction. I just loved the twist you gave to an otherwise regular story. Great job really.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I loved this. I'm big on Scorpius/Rose, but this was so enjoyable, I barely cared that Rose was thirdwheeling most of the time. The dialogue was witty and thoroughly entertaining. I loved how you gradually built up the sexual tension until it broke Scorpius and he gave in.

Really fantastic job!
