Meg,
This story was so dark and so chilling the first time I read it. You did a wonderful job writting out the passion of Albus in this story. You feel his heart wrenching pain as the story progresses. I admit as I read this the first time I was in absolute shock that this was a very dark and twisted love triangle between Rose, Scorpius and Albus. I feel so much for Albus in this story.
I also love the contrast between the before the betrayal and post the betrayal the light and dar that is seen and experienced. Was that done on purpose or just how the story played? Either way, lovely job. I can't imagine the agony of Albus as he faces that betrayal and then when he faces the fact that his father is potentially the one to arrest him. Then there is Harry and his thoughts and reaction to all of this.
I also love how you have the same line to start and finish this story it give it a nice circular touch that is absolutely sublime. Wonderful job.

Wow. This was dark. It's definitely a bit jarring after the fluffy piece of joy 'The Best Day of My Life' was, but you're such a strong, versatile writer. I really felt everything Albus was feeling, to the extent that even as the vast majority of me was horrified by his actions, there was still a part of my heart that went out to him, and I found his reaction completely believable. You did an amazing job here.
Happy holidays!

Dear Meg,
as always all I can do is congratulate you on your incredible talent! Really amazing work!
And great use of second pov, it really helped to link with Albus' emotions!
I loved the veil of mistery that permeated this, your way of telling and not telling, using description instead of names, building settings and events a bit at a time, so that the reader can guess but not really know what's going on till the very end.
And there was this constant sense of anticipation in your narration... I've been holding my breath all along! And there's still this knot in my throath that wouldn't go away...
Excellent, excellent job! That's all I have to say!
Sending you an ocean of love!
