Hey there!

 

I’m here to review your story for the Magical Menagerie event on the forums and for Gryffindors Red vs Gold review event for January 2019. I’m reviewing this because it features a character with a hidden depth, in this case Viktor Krum as a model.

 

This was a very amusing story. I love the idea of Viktor Krum being asked to do underwear advertisements. I mean it makes sense. He’s handsome, in good shape, and is really famous. Plus, he’s vulnerable and shy as the company representative mentions. It’s a winning combination.

 

I loved seeing Ginny and Hermione’s reactions to the shoot. Poor Hermione missed out on a whole hunk of man. Krum was sweet, treated her well, and is now a rippled, muscular, sexy man. It made me laugh to see Ginny teasing her about it. Figures that Ginny would rip his photo out of the magazine to keep for herself. I had a good chuckle over that.

 

Aww. Poor Ron at the end. I’m glad to see that he takes it in stride though instead of getting mad. It seems that he’s mostly gotten over his jealousy from his childhood days. 

 

Lovely work! I really enjoyed reading this light, fluffy piece this morning.

Hey Dark Whisper,

once again, thanks for using my tutorial! It's a real pleasure to see it applied in a fic. Also, I noticed he says "I don't know dat I can do dis" instead of "I don't know if I can do this" - a nice touch, and a completely realistic way of messing up English grammar as a Bulgarian - well done!

I like how Viktor is reluctant to just jump into the modeling business, and worried about what Hermione would think. It shows his shy side, which people tend to forget. And then the entire thing with Hermione and Gunny was hilarious, especially Ginny tearing off Viktor's photo and running with it!

Oh, and poor Ron.

Hello again! This was such a funny one-shot! So different from the one I just read, but so hilarious. I love that Krum was super hesitant to only wear a pair of underwear in an ad. But I'm guessing he must have liked the underwear a lot if he was willing to do the photo shoot. I kind of wish there was more on him and his response to the photo shoot and how people reacted to him. Did he ever let his fame go to his head or was he just a normal guy through and through who just happened to be really good at Quidditch?

I thought it was really cute how Hermione and Ginny almost ripped the magazine in half fighting over it. I wonder if Hermione wonders what her life would be like if she was with Krum. And poor Ron, how does he feel knowing his girlfriend might be ogling the famous quidditch player who took her to the Yule Ball? Although, it would have been really funny if he even considered getting the underwear Krum was advertising to impress Hermione...

Anyway, lovely one-shot! Great job writing this!

Oh my! This was a delightfully fun read. I really enjoyed this and I could just picture everything about this story. It was spot on and so incredibly true to life that I loved it. Thank you for writing and sharing this. I greatly enjoyed the read and in some ways would love if there was more to the story than just this. Still it stands on it's own and is quite good.
