Reviews For A Normal Boy

What really stands out to me in the first passage is the nurse’s apology, and the assumption that having a child who is anything other than typically able is some great burden.

I'm honestly a little surprised that focused Hermione stopped working to raise the kids and family man Ron didn't.

It makes me sad how limited they see Hugo’s possibilities as. I'd say that he could definitely play with other kids and find benefit in reading and writing, and it's a shame they don't see it that way. The wizarding world is beyond the muggle in a lot of ways, but I would hope that Hermione’s knowledge of muggle accommodations plus magical protections would be some help.

This story kinda makes me want to yell at and hug Hermione at the same time. She is doing a lot of emotional damage to herself and her son and it hurts to watch, although she is not the only one at fault.

I'm glad that Hermione finally started to learn to let go and allow Hugo to do things on his own, and I hope that trend continues and he is able to have healthy interactions with his peers, blind and not.

This story makes me want to set fire to the word Normal.

This story obviously made me feel a lot of things and may not have been easy to write, so good on you for writing it.

Sam.
