Hi Margaret! This review is for quodpot, match three, but it's also because you're awesome. :)

Oh no, this is all about Lydia. I have too many memories of you being mean/writing good arcs for her that involved me being very mad at the world. :)

Callaghan's remark about how he hasn't even heard the worst of the werewolf stories is very true. There's too few stories like Lydia's or Remus's where they try to live in wizard societies. I wonder what it would be like in a werewolf camp.

I really love all the insights you have of how the British Wizarding War affected Ireland. Whenever I read something you've written about what Ireland did, i immediately accept it as a headcanon. :)

Okay, that is truly awful that the healer was rude to Lydia during her first transformation. That's just cruel. Poor Lydia. Why are you dredging up all of my old Lydia feelings?

Okay, Lydia hyperventilating in his office is far too much. Why must you torture me with this?

At least Callaghan is brilliant at being comforting and is extremely sympathetic. I like him a lot.

Yes, I definitely agree that Lydia probably has PTSD. Of course she would, after an experience like that. And Callaghan probably has a point about mental health- I can't believe in the books that single character never has a therapist. It could have helped so much!

Overall, wonderful story! I got more Lydia feels and now I really, really like Callaghan a lot. He seems to be a genuinely terrific guy.
