hi, fairy host back with her winter sheltie to review bc she feels left out!

this chapter didn't have a review, so i thought i'd stop into it. and oh my god - 1) "meet harry potter" is amazing, and 2) the meta in here is *amazing* - harry being a movie star who'd played an orphan named ron weasley is just hilarious, omg. (and also, yes, that sounds deeply fishy, wtf, romilda you 20/10 should be questioning this!)

oh my god romilda, this cannot be your best chance to find a man! you need to calm down, ffs.

okay that makes so much more sense and i was def wondering "is this like a prince henry from red white and royal blue dynamic" and apparently yes and "his husband draco malfoy" is just incredible

love it.

hi liv! i'm here bc i'm a fairy host who left out so now i'm reviewing too. :P

so i feel personally attacked by this. you described the coffee shop so vividly and it is also freezing outside my apartment, and now i really, really want to go to a coffee shop and get coffee and a gluten-free doughnut and meet some hot reporter who flirts with me when i say that my apartment has heat, and i think that it's incredibly unfair that you've put me in this situation when the first thing in that string of events is completely impossible. like, if i could have at least gotten to the coffee and doughnut part, that would have been one thing, but i can't, and i want to, so i am spending an entire fucking review whining about it because it is entirely your fault for writing an awesome scene.

Wolfstar Muggle AUs are possibly my favorite thing ever and this absolutely did not disappoint. I love their dynamic, how Sirius is just sort of generally a mess and how Remus is as responsible as always. (Even though, really Remus, when Sirius propositions you for sex, why would you ever say no? hahaha). I love that Remus's dad is scary (I do think that this is canonically a fact—the man's name is Lyall, which literally means wolf; how can he not be scary af hahaha). And I love how Sirius is so protective over his most prized possession.... his hair. The best bit was Sirius claiming "We can be done in half an hour." I literally laughed out loud omg. This little domestic scene was honestly so delicious and heartwarming, and knowing that Sirius is going to propose just makes it even sweeter, because I now view that scene as sort of a snapshot of things to come. Imagine that, every morning being like that? Heavenly. I think the only thing that would've made this any cuter would've been if James and Lily cameoed with baby Harry, OR if Sirius and Remus had a dog, because that would just make my heart explode haha. Ideas for future AUs, perhaps? ;D This was such fluffy goodness, thank you so much for sharing it!

This was such a delight to read. I love Muggle Hinny AUs, and I think the idea of Ginny being a reporter and Harry being a cop is a perfect translation of their professions in the magical world. I love how blasé and composed Ginny is, her teasing flirtatiousness, how she winked at him (and how much of a mess Harry was in comparison, hehe)—I think you've really portrayed her very well. And HARRY. Oh my, he's so awkward and sweet. When he asked her what she was doing tonight with his "words c[oming] out all in a messy rush", I got a vivid flashback to Harry circa Goblet of Fire, asking Cho to the Yule Ball hehe :P And of course, his obliviousness to everything—of course she's flirting with you, you big lovable idiot. You did a really great job keeping both Harry and Ginny in-character; sometimes it's easy to twist their personalities when writing AUs, but you've really preserved their fundamental qualities, and the general wholesomeness of their relationship and their dynamics. Ugh. I really can't stop smiling now; this was so so cute.
