Dropping by to leave you a review for Quodpot Match 3 since this chapter has no reviews on it.

 

I love epistolary form stories. I think seeing letters between characters can give insights that sometimes traditional stories miss. It’s sweet seeing the relationship growing between Scorpius and Rose here.

 

I really like that we got short glimpses into how Rose and Scorpius fell in love. It’s so sweet that she approached him and invited him into her family circle. That seems like something she would do for sure. Being the daughter of Ron and Hermione, she’d definitely be strong willed and opinionated.

 

I love, love, love that she proposed to him. That’s so cute!

 

If I had one piece of constructive criticism, it’s that the death lacks weight. I don’t know if it’s that it’s because it happens at the start of the chapter or because it never really gets explained, but I feel like it needs more substance. I need to see her grieve a bit more. Maybe if you added a few more grief letters into the mix? 

 

All in all, I think this is really nice. I’m a fan of Rose and Scorpius and I especially like the version of Rose you created here.
