I love the perfect balance of magic and reality in this, the mix between faeries and humans shopping at Target. It's amazing and fluffy and I love it. Typical little Oak, running off to find the nixies instead of helping the others move in. And I appreciate Jude's anxiety over Oriana's visit, and the pressure for Jude to prove she knows what she's doing, that her idea is the right one.

 

Also, reading this has raised my anticipation for the second book again. I forgot about Oak a little bit, and I can't wait to find out more about Cardan's rule!
