Hmm lol I think Harry needs a couple of faults. Though I can completely see him making the absolute most out of all the family time he has, especially after his life with the Dursley's and wondering if he'd live past his teens. So I agree, Harry is probably perfect in many ways, but I'd love to see some flaws.

This was so sweet.
My husband has been having some depression too and wasn't really intentionally taught to ask for help. It drives me crazy, "why don't you ask???" It's natural for me but really hard to accept that it isn't for him. He doesn't know the questions to ask me. I've mentioned a couple of times about talking to someone, but that's not going down well either. Last night I finally said a suggestion we'll try in the mornings. It's hardest then. To just hold my hand for a moment and feel grounded when he wakes up. He gets up too quickly and is subsequently flustered.
Anyway, it's funny how alone you feel when there's other people around you. Again, thanks for writing about this in a more uplifting way. A lot of people focus on the sad part of it and it gets too much for me.

It's really difficult to have someone close to you suffer from depression so I hope you are doing okay too. And isn't it interesting how many people don't find it natural to ask for help? Especially men, in my experience. I really wish it was more accepted and natural to do it, for both men and women. I'm glad you liked this uplifting take on the matter. I have mixed feelings about this, but maybe because I was completely with Ginny when James was acting out, but maybe she could have put him in a supervised time out, which is probably what Harry would have done... Actually, now understanding where Harry was coming from having been locked in a cupboard under the stairs when he was little... She wouldn't have thought about it like that.
I think we underestimate, severely, that people who are outgoing can still have depression. My Grandpa was a prime example... He didn't pass away normally.. But he was the silliest most caring father figure in my life and I miss him dearly.
It was amazing of Harry to insist Ginny get help. Thank you for writing this.
That all being said, I think there are a lot of magic cleaning spells that could have helped things. I keep thinking, why didn't Ginny just ask Harry to stop what he was doing to help with James? But that's the point isn't it? She wasn't asking for help.

I've really enjoyed it! I was on hpff too and really missed it. I ended up finding FFT a couple years ago and was thrilled to see usernames that were familiar! I even remember yours, I think I had even started reading this while I was there.
Some critiques I have about the story are small. There are quite a few grammar and spelling mistakes. Also, I think there are quite a few times where magic could be used and isn't, especially during weather, raining and cold and otherwise... There are a lot of spells that repel precipitation and warm or cool clothing. Using accio to find something that's dropped. Things like that.
I did love the amount of love you put in this story and the plot twists you've written are really interesting!
Don't mind me, I also review essays and papers for college age students online lol

Thanks for pointing out those things! English is not my first language so I am bound to make a few mistakes but I'll look out for them when I go back and reread the story. I probably love this more than the other weddings you've done. Mr. Weasley made me laugh with the coffee/bathroom/handryer etc LOL.
Hermione and her mother were the sweetest, I'm so glad they had time together that was focused on the wedding rather than the sickness. The memory of Hermione going to school for the first time was adorable. You know she's meant to be with Ron if she has the same excitement she had for school.
Ron was adorable, you completely had him pegged on his character.
I still just wish we knew a little more about where Hermione's dress came from and what her ring looked like. If her mom had her wedding dress that might be sweet.

To be honest, it was very Ron. This makes a lot of sense too, that he's also be nervous about the big celebrations, he would want it more simple. I do wish he'd at least had a ring.
It was sweet Neville meeting up with Hannah again, that made me smile.
It was really sweet of Ron to go and talk to his parents about Hermione's situation, as someone who has had an in-law pass away suddenly, it's extraordinarily hard to go through seeing your significant other hurt so much. It's heartbreaking.
I'm glad they got out and met up with friends, that was sweet.

I knew Ron was busy trying to be sweet, I just hoped it wouldn't take too long.
It is always awkward to interact with ex's, it was with Dean, why wouldn't it be for Cho? It is different with them being married however. I was sorry to see the return of the press causing problems, I thought either they'd get tired of it or they would be able to handle it better emotionally.
I'm just glad that Ron and Hermione are turning a corner, I'm not really sure what his aversion to marraige was either. Maybe seeing Hermione's parents have limited time made him think he better try to have as much time with her as possible? That might be a good thing to add for the readers, what helped him get over his aversion to marraige.

Oh! I have to say, I love that her teammate Heather was a bridesmaid! I do wish you described her a little more, what does she look like, what's her personality like etc.
Dudley showing up but not interacting was an interesting touch, I like that he was present, but it wasn't about him. The decoration that Ginny made honoring Harry's parents was a really sweet touch too.

Ginny's dress sounded perfect for her and it was sweet the tailor made it just in case she came in. it sounds like a very Olivander-like character.

The rumours surrounding Neville that the students got excited about made me laugh so hard, I loved that idea!

Wow! so, a few different things, great job including local creatures in Finland to fight, great idea. Neville is amazing saving Harry like that, AGAIN because he definitely did at the battle of hogwarts. I'm really glad he got the professor job though, it suits him so well, he wouldn't enjoy himself as an auror, it's so stressful!
I think I would have done a sleepover with Hermione and Ginny, have them stay together during the time the boys are away, that'd be really sweet and it would make sense to discuss a bunch of stuff including narcissa and draco during then, maybe over a bottle of wine in front of a fire. It might be better as it's own chapter, that's how it read and then I nearly forgot that the auror mission happened in the beginning, I had to go check lol. There's a lot you can do with a girl sleepover too, it could be fun :)

It was good to see Luna too. I used to want to write about her after the war, her adventures and falling for Rolf.
Anyway, I have my own post hogwarts story, one of their first challenges is about the Goblins' reaction to Gringotts so I definitely get their attitude here, mine is just more intense.
I've always loved the idea of Harry finding something of Lily's to give to Ginny. Good idea.

I actually really loved this one. Ron, Hermione, Percy, all forgiving themselves for their actions or reactions and it all tied together.
I think it's so cute Harry's a good cook, then again, as a kid he was made to do a lot of chores like cooking too, but with Molly's instruction, he could enjoy it more. I love it.

My AU Ginny/Oliver fangirl heart is very happy. I completely agree, it's easy to rush into things when you've been stressed. I just wish it was easier on them, my perfect world would be that Quidditch and Auror work would have kept them apart so they just agreed it wasn't working well for their lifestyle. I'm not that into dramas. This is working though, even if it is a tad dramatic, I can see it happening.
Super happy about George and Angelina, so sweet. Harry and Teddy are two peas in a pod and adorable too.

I think Harry's drink was spiked, it would explain the complete lack of memory. I like these bits with Oliver. I always thought he and Ginny would make a great couple too, I want to write an AU with them :)
I'm a really firm H/G fan though so it's hard to come up with a real story why they break up lol.

Ok, as much as I don't like that it's been elongated, I really love the dynamic with Harry and Seamus, that he's on Harry's side because he made the mistake once already. That was terribly sweet. Also, they're all under some new stresses and that has something to do with their reactions, I just hope it doesn't last too long..

I actually think this was done well. It had to happen once. She was over exhausted from training, probably starving, we all react emotionally when that happens. Seamus was awesome, finding Harry to warn him, very swift. I do think that instead of Harry thinking all these things about wanting to be with Ginny, he could have said some of them directly to her while he held her close. I think he needed more to say at the end there. I also think it would have been nice if Ginny said that she'd love to spend time with him, especially after the article, to prove just how much he loves her, but that she really needs to focus on the team. She didn't have to be so stern with him about it right then, that could be saved for another time. Just my opinion. I understand why you brought it up, since Gwen mentioned it in the last chapter, but I don't think it had to be here with everything else.
I really think you did this perfectly, it helped that Ginny was exhausted, it was much more believable. I'm excited for Ron and Hermione too!

I loved this chapter, just enough love, just enough of Ron's reaction, but no OVER reaction, slight worry about other girls and Harry, but not too much.
Oh! I love that her teammate is named Heather! Yay! It's hard to find stories with Heathers that aren't bitches unfortunately.
I'm not sure what I think about the Auror situation. Could they be concerned because Ron's recklousness may have contributed to an Auror dying? They have a point, why hire Harry if they're worried something would happen to them? I don't know??
This was really cute! I love the moment with Hermione daydreaming about their future and Ron being snuggly with Victoire. One thing I'll point out is that they would be able to cast a spell to repel the rain. Not a need, but would make sense.

The bells on this one almost sounded like funeral dirge gongs it was so sad! Glad Ron and Hermoine got together and she's still hanging in their with the future Hugo! I understand how Ron feels! Just lost my 90 1/2 yr old dad in October! He is now back together with my mom in a better place than we are at! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
This was really sweet! It didn't really occur to me the Bill and Fleur wouldn't be there. I guess I pictured it her going into labor at the ceremony lol but this makes more sense.
I actually liked the little bit of song you included well done.
It was funny that Charlie was settling in for a long labor and then 2 seconds later Bill came in. It's true though! It could've taken hours!
Nice touch including Draco and Narcissa attending, that just gives them one step closer for everyone else realizing they're trying to make ammends.
