I never thought Lupin's father was still alive, but I think it's very sweet. The toy flying car was a great idea too.
I sort of wish you included Ginny's reaction to that letter, she could have screamed for the whole great hall to hear lol
yikes! I have to admit, it makes sense to strike when the school is completely preoccupied with Quidditch, but it still begs the question how they got on the grounds? Maybe Polyjuice Potion and kidnap some students in Hogsmeade? That might work.
Also, if their looking for revenge, they might've tried finding Molly too. But if they're also looking for Voldemort's body, this is the next best thing... oi!

Hi, so, this chapter was interesting, I liked the detail about what they're doing in the Auror dept. and how they're enjoying themselves, mostly, because they're studying topics that interest them.
I do not, however, think it's very plausible that their boss would let them go to Hogsmeade if they were working. The trips are on weekends anyway and are scheduled in advance, the girls would be able to tell them when they were going.
But, if you wanted to keep it Auror work centered, what if there was a threat in Hogsmeade?
It would make sense that Dark Wizards might want to target anyone in their circle of friends to get to Harry. That would open a lot of opportunity for Harry and Ron to save the girls from something, etc... also kinda romantic :)
Just a thought.
I thought he had gotten time. Anyway, this was interesting to read since I kinda skipped it. Not that it didn't happen, but I didn't go into details. My gosh Lucius is such a jerk... Aberforth was a nice touch I wasn't expecting that.
The little girl at Kings Cross the previous chapter was adorable by the way!

Hi, this was an interesting take on how Hermione finds her parents. Mine is very different. I love Post Hogwarts stories though, I'm excited to see how this one goes. I'm not nearly as far in as you are, but I've posted a few chapters :) Mine's called What Means Most if you're interested. I loved how they ended up using the Deluminator again, nice touch!

Unpopular opinion but I like whole Oliver-Ginny storyline. He saw a beautiful girl he has a crush on is single,why wouldn’t he grab the opportunity!? Besides good for Ginny too because between Harry and Oliver, Oliver is a knockout and much more experienced. She needed some real pleasure from a man before she could sort things with Harry again.
What I don’t like is Ginny apologizing to Harry about it as if it's a sin to sleep with Oliver and Harry's reaction to it. Both She and Wood were adults and were together for almost a year,officially even more than she was with Harry at that point with whom she had slept as well btw. What did both of them expected, that Oliver would just so much of hold her hand for a year!!? They even started to stop at each others place at night!!!
Honestly I don’t know what was going on Ginny's mind when she told Harry that!!
Another great chapter never thought he would talk to andromeda about this I would figure he'd go to his mom but it's makes sense since andromeda lost her husband I hope next chapter is Hermione's birth
Jingle bells, this was swell and it gets a 10! The brilliance meter liked this as much as I did! I knew Ginny & Lachlan would hit it off! Glad Harry got to talk to Arthur about having a girl! Good Ron and Hermoine are hanging in there! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Author's Response:Oh, I am so, sorry for your loss. I can imagine it was especially hard right before the holidays. I acutally lost my grandmother in November too. She was very old but that doesn't mean it's not icredibly sad. I hope you are doing okay despite the circumstances. And I'm not religious but I like to believe that our loved ones are still with us on some level. Even if it's just in the things we learned from them.

I'm back with yet another CMDC review!
I know I’ve mentioned it in previous chapters but I can’t tell you enough how much I LOVE this story! I wish I came across it sooner! You’re doing such a wonderful job with your details and characterization that I feel like I am back at Hogwarts with the rest of the gang. I know you said it wasn’t canon to have Lucius locked up but I feel it fits perfectly within the story and if I’m being honest, I feel like he should have gotten at least some jail time for his role in the war. He did everything willingly and influenced Draco so negatively that it’s only fitting that he pays for what he did. Once again you have wowed me with your descriptions! I would have loved to see more information on the trial especially Draco’s as well as more about the quidditch tryouts just to see what Harry said to sway the court as well as if Dean made the team.

I definitely agree with you about Lucius (obviously, since I changed it in my story). I think he was one of the worse characters for the way he brought his son into it all. And thanks for the input about including more of the trial and the Quidditch tryouts! As for Dean's Quidditch career, there will be more on that in future chapters.

This chapter was so bittersweet I'm almost in tears again. If I didn't know any better, it seems like an ending rather than a beginning and it's easy to relate to Harry's feelings as Ginny leaves for Hogwarts. The way you wrote Harry and Ginny’s goodbye almost feels like a final goodbye and it makes me curious to see what you have in store for everyone in the coming months. I'm in love with your descriptions because they are able to transport me into the story. I feel as if I'm a fly on the wall watching everything unfold thanks to the amount of detail you've put into this. I wish I could write details the way you do. Your writing is truly beautiful and I’m in awe of your ability. I only wish this chapter was longer and showed the family’s reaction to Fluer’s announcement.

Horray for a chapter with a happy ending! I'm so glad that Hermione was able to find her parents despite a run-in with what I can only assume to be low-level death eaters. I'm glad that Ron was able to convince Harry and Ginny to travel to Australia. Seems like they made it in the nick of time. I'm looking forward to seeing how Hermione's parents react to being in the Burrow and surrounded by redheads. I can't begin to tell you how much I'm enjoying reading this story. it's made me laugh, cry, and everything in-between! I love it!
I never would have guessed that English isn't your first language this is so beautifully written that it could be another story by Rowling herself!

Hi there! I'm back again with another review for the CMDC event!
Why must you make me cry?!?!? When I started reading the funeral scenes, The tears just started and wouldn't stop. Even now I'm still tearing up thinking about it. This hit close to home to me because I lost 3 people close to me last year and all the emotions the Weasley family felt, I felt in the days and weeks after the funerals were all said and done. There was so much I wish I could have said and so much more I wish I could have done that I'll never have the opportunity to now. The details and emotions you captured in this chapter are amazing and I felt like I was sitting at the graveside with everyone.
This chapter was amazing and I can't say enough about how much I loved reading it! I'm looking forward to reading the next chapters and continue the journey!

First, let me start off by saying that this is a brilliant concept for a story! I love the idea of a story that spans the time between the end of the war and the epilogue.
Thank you so much for showcasing different POVs and how all the deaths affect the main characters. I feel so bad for George and the rest of the Weasleys and my heart was broken for the millionth time as they had to come to grips with the loss of Fred.
Harry's speech was exactly what I imagine he said in the aftermath. He acknowledged everyone he knew personally that died and thanked everyone for their help in such a beautiful way that it almost had me in tears.
This was beautifully written and with your descriptions, I felt like I was there for every moment. Thank you so much for transferring this story to our corner of the interwebs. I love it and can't wait to see what's going to happen next.
