Reviews For Gravity

"Sana" is actually one of my favorite names in all of existence, no joke. I'm assuming she's half-Japanese because of the "Asian" tag on this story, and (if that's true) I'm so happy with the representation in this fic. (If not, just ignore everything where I mention race haha I'm going to carry on with the rest of the review assuming she's part Japanese.)

My favorite things about this fic that are uniquely separate from a lot of Next Gen fiction: Lily Luna Potter is a Slytherin, she is very much in love with a woman, and Oliver Wood married a Japanese woman. Reading about Sana's inner turmoil while dating Lily gave me a realistic feeling, because we still do give a lot more attention to whichever celebrities come out as bi or gay. She doesn't want to risk the (possibly negative) attention towards her career, and that's such a tragic thought.

Lily's discussion with her at the end was sweet and revealing. I was happy when Sana finally embraced her relationship.

Author's Response:

Hello, Eva! Thanks for choosing to leave a comment on this story. I was rather worried about it because it's the first time I write slash, so I wasn't sure how it was all coming off. So I'm very relieved to hear that you like it. Sana is Asian, but she's half Indian (half-Patil and half-wood). The thing about Sana is that she doesn't care what the public says, but in this case, she doesn't want Lily and Potters' reputation to get dragged into it. But personally, she couldn't care less. But you are right, artists and celebrities who come out are always under so much scrutiny and that's why I wanted to represent that a bit.

I'm glad you enjoyed it and thought it was sweet. Fluff isn't necessarily my forte. Thank you so much for the lovely review.
