*Transferred from HPFF - apparently I'd only left two reviews on this story because I binge-read it - one on this chapter and one on the epilogue. I feel like you deserve more than that, but in any case here is this loopy and fangirly review from 2 years ago :P *
Hi Lisa. I apologise in advance for this review because it's 1 in the morning and as Rose can attest (i.e. toomanycurls, not Rose Weasley) my brain doesn't work past about 10 so I leave lots of loopy late night reivews.
Anyway, what I want to say is that I love this story. I've been hearing so much about it for so long and finally decided to read it and I'm so glad I did - I just love the characters and how hyou're addressing such important issues and things that are not often mentioned in fiction but are so relatable. And you've done it with such fantastic dialogue and humour. I want to be friends with all these nerdy Ravenclaws. Even though I'm not a Claw, I feel like I'd fit right in and that they are the sort of people who would actually appreciate my memorising Pi to 67 places.
Though I really want to just keep reading, I will finish the rest of the story tomorrow because my right eye is twitching in tiredness. That's probably for the best though beause then I'll be able to write proper reviews in the morning. Ciao!

Well you are definitely providing the quality lgbt content I signed up for! It's so lovely and refreshing to read a group of friends like this, because it's so realistic - we tend to flock together even without meaning to.
ALBUS AND SCORPIUS. Hands down my favourite next-gen ship. I can't even imagine the nerve it would take to do that in the middle of the Great Hall, what amazing kids. They are definitely right, even in such a short time this scholarship has clearly been good for them - they've obviously always had this brave and daring side all along, they just needed a bit of a kick to get it going. And if this is only the start for them, I can't wait to see where they'll be after a few months of pranking!
I honestly don't see Hogwarts having a sexual orientations/sexual health/etc. etc. kind of class, and so I'm not at all surprised Holly gets these kinds of reactions. Especially when many of the wizarding kids probably don't have any internet access - it kinds of makes me wonder what kind of lgbt content & representation Hogwarts kids have access to? I'm guessing by the fact that Scorpius and Albus kept it quiet this long, and by who Louis is as a person, that there's still some quite significant gaps in their education.
Ok I very much want to be best friends with Holly, what a precious little angel! Staying up all night to help other people with their essays is some fierce next level dedication.
Already on chapter three these characters are starting to feel well rounded and very real, even though we haven't had much insight into most of them yet. Obviously I am in love with Holly, and oh Rose. Poor darling, I would definitely not handle something like that well either. Is it just me or is Louis' prank leaning more towards the cruel than the funny? It may just be a matter of perspectives, but that seemed significantly more spiteful than some pygmy puffs (but then, fragile masculinity must skew the judgement). I'm quite happy Albus and Lester are tearing him down in the background with their acerbic wit, and I very much look foward to the Raven's retribution.
Prank #1 was adorable, I would kill to be Louis and have a small herd of little pygmy puffs follow me everywhere. At the same time, I am very glad that Louis did not enjoy the experience at all because he sounds like every dude I have ever hated on first sight and I am very happy that he will be a presumably frequent prank target. Albus and Scorpius are adorable and Scorpius is my knight in shining badge as well - he may be a Ravenclaw but he has a streak of Gryffindor bravery in him to be standing up to Louis like that.
Also what a bunch of adorable Ravenclaws, focusing on how much the pranking will improve their wandwork. Precious angels.
I'm assuming the pranking is going to get a lot more intense once Louis & gang realise who's targeting them. I am very excited to see where this goes!
So I've been meaning to read your stuff for aaaaages and seeing the announcement that you were shifting it over here seemed like the perfect motivation. Although also I just stalked you on hpff through searching this story and it's been so long that I'd forgotten your username and I actually have read some of your stuff before (I HAD NO IDEA YOU WERE THE GENIUS BEHIND HAVE A BISCUIT MY MIND IS BLOWN!!!!!).
Anyway to this story! I am obviously very excited to read this, I have seen people praising this story all over twitter, and I know you are going to shower me with a+ lgbt content. Scorpius & Albus I assume? One of my all time favourite next-gen ships, this is excellent.
I'm loving the premise of this story, because setting up a scholarship like this is aboslutely something I can picture George doing in Fred's name. And the idea of five Ravenclaws who are averse to rulebreaking and general shenanigans competing for it? I can only assume hilarity will ensue. I definitely relate with these kids because my idea of wild rulebreaking in highschool was taking more time than I needed to feed the animals in our animal enclosure that my year 7-8 homeroom teacher was responsible for, it was the closest I ever came to skipping a class. So it's good these kids are getting into the rulebreaking earlier and more enthusiastically than me because life is more fun that way.
