Great job keeping me guessing until the very end. I, honestly, thought it would be leaving Teddy for Scorpius, probably because I was thinking about Scorose. However, if I had thought about it, I would have realized that it was flipped. Wining and Dining and expensive jewelry--that is such a Malfoy move. Then you mentioned planning with the future momma-in-law. Yes, I can imagine what a nightmare Astoria would be. Still, you have created empathy for Scorpius. It sounds like his heart really was broken. Not that Rose is too upset about it, She’s traveling the world now.
Great job.

Hi :) I'm sorry the timing didn't out for this to be submitted for the challenge, but I'm glad to read it anyway!
I know you don't like Rose/Teddy, and Scorose is a very popular ship, so I actually love what you've done with the premise of this and how Rose leaves Scorpius AT THE ALTAR (omg worst thing) for Teddy. It's really impressive how in such a short number of words you conveyed so much emotional turmoil.
I think what I like most about this is that Rose is so incredibly flawed, and she knows it. She's not honest, and leaves broken hearts behind her, and is afraid of confronting her decisions. And she doesn't really express that much regret over it either. But at the same time, I still feel some pity for her as the reader because she realised she'd be stuck in an unhappy marriage and left to follow her heart (to someone else who'd also left broken hearts behind him. They're both as bad as each other!)
Basically, Rose just feels so human, because of all her failings and her quest for following her heart, and accomplishing that with a character in 600 words is really impressive. I really like what you did with the ship here.
One word of caution though, you use the word 'ex' in different places to mean Teddy or Scorpius, and sometimes I got a bit confused as to which ex she was referring to.
Overall this was such a good story and thanks for letting me know about it! :)
