I'm so glad you finally got a chance to update your wonderful story. I am really really enjoying it. I think you are a great writer. I hope you are able to update again soon. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to find out what happens next

Elena! Bravo on another great chapter! I was 'whooping' when Draco punched Ron---meant to do it for destiny or not, Ron deserved that punch. I feel so bad for Hermione; I really hope things start going better for her...She seems so lost. And, I thoroughly enjoyed the end scene between D/Hr. Good job, once again!! ~Jessi

Once again I don't know the scale but I will give it a 10 because I think 10 is as good as it gets. :) I loved this chapter, it was myterious, funny, sad, and ROMANTIC!!!!!! Super job.
P.S. please tell me the raiting scale so that I can give your stories the right raiting. Thanks. ^_^

I'm not sure what the raiting scale is, but I'll assume that 10 is the highest, which means it could not get any better and that is what I rait this chapter. Excellent Work!!!!!

Ok I totalyl am like in love with this story, I couldn't stop reading so i didnt leave any reviews, sorry! Did you make up the verse thingy to awaken Dumbledore because i was like woah that was awsome! Great story so far, hoping for more soon!

Yes, I made up the ""spell"" or incantation that Snape recites to wake Dumbledore, I'm glad you liked it :)

Aww, Mrs. Tally is a sweet little woman. You only gave us a glimpse of her character but I really liked her. There was something very warm and good-natured in her mannerisms. It’s interesting to see new characters thrown into the mix and she’s certainly a good welcome.
Ah, Luna Lovegood. I love everything about her character, so far I think you’ve captured the surface of her quirky personality, which is a good start. It’s interesting to see the way you progress the world in timeline and whatnot – watching how each character has picked up from where we see them in the books and continued on down the road.
Now, your descriptions in the beginning were good, but once we got to the Quibbler they were a bit sketchy. Little things like the state of Luna’s desk, the things she had around the room, all paint a full picture for the reader. It feels almost as though you rushed that part, since everything in the beginning was more laid out, but keep in mind that it’s better to play out a scene to it’s full potential rather than rush through it ;-)
Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked Mrs. Tally...I'm actually rather disappointed in myself that I haven't done more with her character. I was supposed to re-introduce her, but I left her out as I couldn't find a good way to bring her back in. Perhaps when you get further into the story, you may find a way to get her to make another appearance :)
And you are dead right with Luna and the Quibbler! I too am a fan of Luna's character, my problem is if I try to capture her the way she is supposed to be, I somehow make her sound like a lunatic who has excaped from an insane assylum!..lol...I don't know why, I guess thats why I haven't really gone deeper and did rush through the scenes with Luna. But I do agree with you about playing out the scene :)

The line you have going here is interesting. The general theme of Hermione leaving Ron in this type of situation does seem realistic, but there’s an element missing that almost leaves it empty. The flashback scene is where you really need to emphasize the emotions of the characters. As you have it now, the reader is seeing the bare minimum of the range of emotions that I imagine both Ron and Hermione would be going through. To make it believable you really need to delve into the characters and give the readers their inner-most thoughts. Another aspect that would help you along in your writing is getting into more detail with descriptions. Descriptions are the bane of my existence – I’m constantly trying to capture all the right thoughts, emotions, physical surrounds, so I understand that it’s not always an easy. You have a good foundation, and if you worked on that I’m sure you’d be able to master it. There are quite a few resources on the main site that can help you develop that a bit more – I believe timeturner has an exercise in that section. If you can’t find it and want the link directly, let me know ;-)
If you really want to work on your writing skills then I’ll tell you now that I think you have potential. We all have weaknesses in our writing, and if we work on them then we’ll eventually overcome them. You have a good foundation for this story, especially since it’s your first piece, and I’d really be interested in seeing where you take it from here.
Author's Response: Wow! How does one respond? :) First of all, thank you. Secondly, I agree that I really could have paid a lot more attention to the emotions in this chapter. It is a bit rushed and I didn't want to go overboard as it was simply a memory of Hermione and Ron's break up as opposed to reliving the moment.
However, I can see your point of view. Perhaps once I've actually finished the fic I can go back and revise this chapter and I'm sure other chapters aswell :)
I may even do a prequel to this story and give Hermione and Ron the depth and explanation they deserve for their relationship.

God I love it! I'm not really a fan of HG/DM But I totally love this one! I can't wait to see the next one! The non-romance senes, wonderful as they are and diffinetly(sp) needed, they are harder to read due to your wonderful-ness writing of romance. I am in love with it!

Love the story, one of the best I've got on my favorites! Hehe. It's such an awesome story and one of the few where they don't fight ALL the bloody time, lol.

I think I am going to go insane if Draco and Hermione dont make up in the next chapter. I mean they make such a CUTE couple!! Other than that, I just cant wait in general for the next one.

AHA!! I'm really reviewing for you other story that you have written, but it's not really there, but I thought I'd be the 1st to review, but it's not giving me anything to review in!! HAHAHA!!!! I'm just being a goof. Actually that story sounds intriguing. You know, I really ought to tour this site more & see what all these challenges are about. wow! it's taken me 3 days to read your story but well worth it! i really wasn't a hermione?draco backer but now i want you to finish your story, it's every bit as good as Rowling! just one question-when's the next installment?!?
