Well I have to say I'm on Hermione's side on this, the explanation isn't enough, but it goes some way to redeeming him, Draco I mean. I really want to knwo the whole story there and everything that's happened to him (guess I'll have to keep reading then ;) ).I like the touch of Harry and Ginny getting engaged, that's good for them, and I'm glad you let that happen though they'r enot the focus of the story. I wonder if Hermione will be the Maid f Honour if Ron is the Best Man, that would be interesting, I want to read an encounter with Ron now that they're broken up and all :D . Great chapter :) .

I love Harry and Ginny being together...lol...So in this fic, them two getting married just has to happen....I can't say anything more though, you'll just have to keep reading.

oo, things are really starting to happen now! I am very curious about Draco's past, and everything that's happened to him, you're drawing it out well though :D . I like that you've made everyone else quite accepting of Draco, it puts Hermions in a difficult position and I can;t wait to read how she handles it with everyone else of a different opinion to her.Draco's character is very interesting, and I like his resolve to show Hermione who he really is, and the way he was on the balcony. He seemed quieter than the Draco we know, but still himself, and I thought you mixed those aspects of his character well. Onto the next chapter :) .
Author's Response: I love hiding bits and pieces of the characters....Draco's past doesn't come out till a bit later, but I promise, its worth the wait :) Hermione deals with things in her way....I wanted to have her out of her school days, way of thinking, but similar as she is now a bit wiser.
I won't say much more about Draco...his character becomes more clearer as the chapters continue ;) Thanks for the review too!!!

Yay, the introduction of Draco :D . I like how you've left it until now, 4 chapters in and all, not straight away. You're building it up well, and I like the characterisation you've written of Hermione. I think she would be nervous and needing to go outside by herself like you have here. Her dress also sounds very nice, it's weird, but I imagined it as purple in the last chapter, btu I don't think you mentioned it until now *blink*.I like the history you give Draco, and the fact people still don't trust him, I htikn that's important to have, that he's not something compeltely different to the Draco we know, and I think you're doing well to keep that in sight right now. I'm enjoying reading this :) .
Author's Response: Ah yes...Draco :) You will find that Draco kinda is the same as the one we know from the books...I put him through a different kind of 'change' :) I guess if you really want to know, you'll keep reading!!
No, I never did mention the colour of her dress, till now :) and when I saw *blink* in your review...I did blink!!..lol....

ooo, what a place to leave it! Now i will have to read the next chapter immediately (I'm sure this is what you intended of, course ;) ), you wrote up to the cliff hanger well, introducing us to the part at a nice pace; in fact, the whole fic has been at a nice pace really, you manage that very well. And I sitll like the fact that it's Luna who's organising this and leading Hermione around :D .I liked the conversation between her and harry and ginny, and the fact Ron didn't come was a good touch, and very in character for him, Hermione recognised it was no surprise too. You're writing this very nicely, and now on to the next hapter :) .
Author's Response: lol...Everyone hated me for leaving it there!! But, it was a good build up to the next chapter. Yes, Luna had to be the one to lead her around, it is her party for Hermione!! :)
It was hard to write Hermione, Harry and Ginny without Ron, but I think after a while, I got over it and just wrote what I felt came best to me. I have plans for Ron, so if you decide to continue reading, you'll find out about that :)

erk, 6am?! i wouldn't want to workf or Luna ;) . I thought Luna was a little less quirky, and more straight forward than in the books, but you did mention you had changed the characters a little, and after all, I can put it down to effects of the war and having to take over the running of The Quibbler on her own. It's plausible her character changed, and i think you write a slightly different Luna well :) .I like how you gave Hermione time to recover and collect herself, she would've needed that, and I like the idea of Luna reintroducing her to society. Mrs Tally seems like a nice character too, though i'm not sure if she'll featre much anymore now that Hermione has moved. I liked her htough, maybe she will come into it again somehow. Another great chapter :) .
Author's Response: I loved Mrs Tally too. I don't think she will make another appearance...Maybe in another fic though ;)
Ah...Luna!!! I love Luna's character, the problem I had was that every time I wrote her, I made her seem like she was insane! It wasn't good. So I changed her a little. I like to think that she still is Luna, just a little older, a little wiser and a little more 'Normal' :)

oo, great start to the story :) . I particularly loved the detail you gave of Hermione liking to cook when she was angry, and I laughed at Ron wondering what it was he had done now. They're both characterised well, and I thought you wrote thier interaction very well, especially the part where Ron mistakes Hermione's menaing when she says 'well then, that's that.'.I like the brief history you give of the war, you don't overdo it and load us down with what's happened to get to this point, I don't like it much when writer's give you this ton of information to take in immediately, things have to gradual, but you give enough to make a solid foundation for the story to begin. I also like the touch of having the guys playing Quidditch professionally, it's so far a smooth transition from the Hogwarts stories we know to this post-war fic. Great first chapte,r on to the next :D .

I was always a bit iffy writing Ron and Hermione to start with, I didn't know if I was getting them right, but so far, I've had more postive reviews than negative, so I must be doing something right ;)

alright so this is my review for the entire fic...
wow. just wow. i absolutely HATE fluff writing and yet every single time you manage to twist it into something i thoroughly enjoy. sometimes it's alright, but you take something that could be taken for (as you say) absolute rubbish and make it something completely entertaining and enjoyable.
i particularly liked chapter 25 --i think that's right--where draco and hermione are arguing. it was sooooooooo good. i'm kinda at a stage in my life i guess where i do a fair bit of arguing and so i could really relate to the situation. loved it!
christmas...a bit drawn out in my opinion. not that it's poorly done, but i thought that some of the story matter could have been condensed. can't wait to hear more tho!
excellent EXCELLENT job! keep it up! and i'm impatiently awaiting an update...or two...or five...

Thank you for such a great review :) Before I answer this review, I too agree that Christmas is being very drawn out, and there is one more chapter to finish off the Christmas event. What makes it so drawn out though, is the fact that so much has happened and will happen on this day!! :)
Arguing is so much a part of a relationship. NO relationship goes without arguments and when dealing with Hermione/Draco, there HAS to be arguing...lol..
I'm glad you are enjoying this fic, despite the fact that you hate fluff! I, on the other hand, LOVE fluff, so I'll always have it in my fic at some stage or another ;)
