It will, he is assured, simply be a process of him dictating his perfect woman to the matchmaker who will find the girl and make suitable introductions. Zewu-jun is, after all, the First Jade of Lan; who would refuse him?
This is less comforting than it's supposed to be because Lan Xichen is left with the awkward, mortifying ordeal of considering the prospect of a wife, and all the books on the subject are, well, unhelpful for a man of his temperament.
It is his greatest challenge yet, so, naturally, he ropes all his brothers into it - willing, unwilling, unwitting.
(Shufu is simply grateful there are no more Explanations required. Twice was twice more than enough.)

American journalist, Anais Fonseca had only expected one thing when she visited her cousin Adelina at the Romanian Dragon Reserve in the summer of 1996, and having a fling with Charlie Weasley wasn't it. She never intended to develop feelings for him, or for him to figure out that he could reciprocate those feelings. And finding out she was pregnant with his child didn't help at all. Now she has to figure out how this was going to work, what with them living on different continents.

She did not bargin for Albus Potter and his many exploding cauldrons.
Lily Luna Potter has done it. She is finally hired as an Auror and completes her training without any issue. She doesn't, however, expect to be assigned to a task force investigating a murder of a former Azkaban prisoner who skipped out on probation.

"Someone learns something unexpected about his ancestry and acts upon it." That was the challenge for a 700-word HP drabble that grew from a drabble to an 8,000-word story to a 120-page screenplay, evolving along the way from Draco-Astoria-Scorpius Malfoy to Denis-Aurelie-Silvestre Paridelle, but the HP clues are still there, discernible to a knowledgeable eye. Can you spot them?
The original drabble ended at Plot Point One, where Scorpius/Silvestre says, "If you don't open them, then when I'm an old man and you're dead, I will do it. So we might as well look at them now. Don't you want to know?"
