Determined to keep her sister's secret, Dominique finds herself making a deal with none other than Teddy Lupin. As the two of them sink deeper into the darkest parts of the world, they will be forced to understand that there is more between them than they had initially thought, forcing Dominique to be seen in ways that she had always feared.

Just as Darcy thought she knew what love is, Darcy realized she knew nothing at all.

I realize three fundamental truths at the exact same time. The first is that Dom is most definitely in love with him, even if she won’t quite admit to it just yet. The second is that I definitely still am as well - the rising sense of despair in my chest is evidence of that.

And the third is that, in this situation, she wins.
