Stir counterclockwise until trouble occurs. Watch them as they deal with love, sorrow and Death Eaters. Follow their lives through the last year at Hogwarts to the final battle two decades later.

Perfume filled his nostrils as Emma walked past and Rosier’s gaze lingered on her bare, pale legs as the group headed outdoors. “Don’t you just love summer?” he inquired of Regulus, a hungry sneer lighting his face.

“This is ridiculous,” Regulus announced in a furious whisper, “we’re never going to get them alone!”

“Have faith, Black,” commanded Rosier smoothly. “Girls are well renowned for their desire for girly chats. I’m sure they’ll slip off the shackles of their chaperones soon enough.”

With a flash of images, the world becomes blurry, the present morphs into the past, and all he sees is a startling shade of green.

Distraught over the loss of his godfather, Harry turns to Ginny for comfort and, in turn, she helps him to understand the power the Dark Lord knows not.

Your life is over.  Dead to the world.  The mere memory of your time on earth dwindled down to nothing but a self portrait on some wall in a castle.  Your life now refined to only what you can see from a square box, the company of the other portraits to keep you company and entertained.   How your life is so different now - being only two dimensional.  

The darkness hid him well. Severus Snape sat amongst the shadows, listening intently.
The battles fought within the walls of Hogwarts reverberated throughout the Forbidden Forest like shards of glass cutting through the very soul that he claimed to no longer own.

Winning the battle does not mean you have won the war - but at twelve, is there really a difference? Severus Snape bested Sirius Black once, in their Second Year. Lily Evans is of the opinion that if he had just listened to her, it wouldn't have happened. And James Potter still stands by the fact that cleaning toilets isn't the worst detention he's had.
